    Nicholas, a quick question as I've been experiencing some issues lately...re-leveled my Photon, but noticed that the gap you have mentioned at around 1:00 is not symmetric no matter what I do. From this video it seems like it's similar for you as well. Is this normal? I've printed a lot without bothering that part, but now when I checked I noticed that wide prints mostly start failing from one side, and I have a suspicion that this might be the issue.

    • @Outlawisbest
      @Outlawisbest 4 роки тому

      zirrian hmm. Is your plate sanded? Can it be possible that the surface itself isn’t level? If not, take the plate apart. You might have gotten some resin in there during its lifetime. Give it a good clean.

    >>>>> READ THIS IF THIS METHOD STILL ISNT WORKING FOR YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!! <<<<< This method is PERFECT but there are 2 things to bear in mind. First of all, when you tighten the grub screw if you see the plate pushing upwards, unscrew and move up by the smallest increment. Repeat until you can tighten without this happening. Otherwise you will have a plate that seems level from left to right but will NOT be from front to back. Secondly, really get your fingers close to the edge of the plate when you do the push test and shove it in parallel. It may seem like it's going to be too close but this is the ONLY way I have been able to get prints AT ALL out of engineering resins which aren't so forgiving. Good luck
