for the 18, I wanna add the extra thing: 1: when u summon totem or incarnate, it will instantly have its turn after u, but after that it's turn like normal, which usually be last 2: when characters or enemies join the fight after it has begun, they will be the last to move, include those who r resusrected in same turn (the exception r some script event happens in a fight, or when delay character hasnt move yet) how to take advantage of that? a character in the battle will move last by delay the turn, and another with high inititive (even better if it's glass canon character) will join the fight after everyone but the delay character move, and that newly-joined character will also take a move next turn the other application is character revival, when reviving a death one, they will be put in last line, which make them the priority target for enemies since they usually will have little to no armour left, so instead, we could have character that cast the resurrection scrool delay turn also to mention something: constitution (or HP) in this game is not that necessary, the physical/magical armour is much more important since it prevents CC there is only few important things that for putting point in constitution, 1 is if u intent to use shield; and 2 is with unstable talent

I'm on my millionth playthrough and instead of starting over again I made a lone wolf pt on the side plus another with the rest of the cast so to speak. That way when I'm a bit burned out on my main pt I just load one of the others and proceed with those. This is my first crpg and only my second ever game so it's been a wild ride and a steep learning curve but I love this game so much. Finally at the end of act 2 on my main pt

One tiny tip When you reload, loot from chests often changes so keep that in mind if you find something really cool and then decide to reload

I just want to mention for people like me who absolutley hates the controller. Well guys, borrow a controller from a friend, this is changing the experince of the game totally, it makes it less clunky and the controls are so easy. Me having almost 0 experience with the controller, I finally found use for it. Just try with any controller and you will see what I mean. And thank you very much for the video. Great work! Even at tactician level this game is relatively simple and easy; these sort of modded classes are unnecessarily overpowered.

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere: Do you get more exp from praying at each of the Seven's Altars, do you get more from convincing Alexander's Ghost tell you, or does the exp you get from Alexander's Ghost telling you make up for missing exp you didn't get? For example, if I get the exp for praying at Rhalic, then praying at Tir-Silliness, BUT THEN I kill Alexander and his ghost gives me the whole answer, does the exp that is shown equal what the remaining 5 altars would have done?

Went from D4 to this game and wow it's a drastic change lol. D4 is just pure combat and DoS2 feels like I spent a whole session in dialogue. Nice world building & feeling immersive but can burn you out and make your play sessions shorter but love opening up this game and seeing where the exploration takes me.

I think some of these mods are not suitable for the first (or even 2nd or 3rd) playthrough, and your opinion is based on playing this game many multiple times. So "best mods for any playthrough" is misleading. You basically have a Version 2.0 of DOS2 if you used most of these mods, when the reality is that base game (+QOL mods) has replayability for multiple runs (that's the point of only getting 4 out of 6 origin characters and not having enough memory/AP/points to run all 10 skill schools maxed out). Why add a whole new class or drastically different talents when someone new hasn't even learned what is good or bad in the base game? Divinity Unleashed also seems like a complete waste for someone who hasn't come to appreciate (for better or for worse) the default system of depleting armor for cc spam and the power of crafted item CC. New Uniques also seems a bit too much when there's already plenty for a new completionist player, and would distort their baseline of gear progression. The only mods I would truly suggest that deviates from base gameplay mechanics for new runs are - Summoning Tweaks for infinite summon duration (as the AP cost for setting up a summon is too costly by mid game) - a mod to revive all pets (because they're just too annoying to keep alive) - a mod which levels up your Unique gear, so that they actually remain cool and usable for more than 5-10 hours. Whether it's the one which does it automatically or has you pay an NPC to do it is up to you.

Picked the game up again a couple years after my last playthrough and sought some refresher..then i heard it. _Smells worse over here than a dozen rotten eggs dropped in a vat of vinegar._ *Gander a guess as to who will die when as soon as I get to Driftwood?* It would be very IC for my current PC as he's got the villain tag. He's not that bad a murderhobo - he empathizes with and doesn't murder fellow prisoners like a certain dragon - but he would certainly surreptitiously get rid of irritants to his daily market runs. Now regarding tips, I never had to worry much about Gwydian dying even in my former Tactician runs as my playstyle has always been pretty mage heavy. Petrify (did the oily blobs get petrified?), freeze and stun has always worked to keep them away from him. Actually, good CC is always helpful when you have suicidal NPCs around. I'm surprised there's no Hannag fight tip though. That lava is to watch out for.

for Gwydian I had two heal spells on Lohse with magic armor and fortitude and a healing spell on Ifan. I fought the voidlings cause more exp. Just cast those spells on Gwydian

Do NOT use Enhanced Talents. It is completely broken. I want a fun game and I still want a good challenge to be able to enjoy and have fun. Some players just love being way way OP to the point they lose perspective.

And if anyone wanted to go for the more 'Twilight' version of werewolf, you could probably just pick a druid subclass that allows you to turn into a wolf and then... I suppose only use that wildshape- but this is much cooler.

Too bad armour in this game is out classed in just a couple of levels unless is there a way to scale them up to your current level

Decided to play this for the first time after beating Bg3 in Honor Mode… I’m getting my ass kicked in act 1 in normal difficulty 🥹👍🏽

I've gotten into it after BG3 and I have restarted at least 10 times by now and I haven't even made it out of Fort Joy. Its crazy out here.

Fought like 4 times to realise he doesn't die and just becomes unconscious with 0 hp on the floor while his summoned crew is more dangerous (playing with a party of 2 lv8 each)

If the robot sends you back to complete your studies, read the 2 fixed stone tablets so all your chars have both source spells. Took me long enough

Just tried the Alice fight trick and it didn’t work. Seems patched I guess EDIT: I actually got it to work but I had to force attack her with my second character next to Jahan or she wouldn’t aggro us

Nobody ever tells you when one should remove the collar at fort joy, or list the quests to finish before removing it. Including some companion quests become locked out if you remove it, particularly iban's quest.

Why did they even scrap werewolf shifter as a class? It has always been in Baldurs Gate 1-2? They cut the class and a werewolf companion from BG3 : C

Very cool mod, but again, I am tired that this is locked into Dagger to be used. At least sword or spear should have been taken into account too.
