I had the chance to be in the room of the last supper in summer of last year during a visit to Jerusalem. I remembered that during this Easter's Holy Week and have been mulling on it since. The room is designated the room of the last supper but was built years after it. A Islamic shrine was added to the room in later years during the Muslim occupation of Jerusalem. Our Israeli tour guide presented the historical facts to us. A group of pilgrims were in the room with us and started to sing a hymn, being eventually shushed by the guards as such displays of religiousity are banned. The priest with the group knelt down and kissed the floor. And I wondered and absorbed the mystery and majesty of such a place and such an experience. Thank you Fr. Darren for bringing this memory into today's sermon.

This has brought me such joy. I miss the church and this gives me a feeling of closeness with God in this uncertain time.

Despite every effort of Satan to do so, EASTER IS NOT CANCELLED...The Lord Jesus is Risen, He has Risen Indeed....Praise our Lord Jesus Christ..Thank you Darren, Heather, Gary, Carlton, Jason and all others who celebrated this wonderful service.
