Damn, couldn’t overtake 924 porcha
First, it is not a 924 but rather a 914. Second, porsche how it is spelled. Finally, it is a 6 cylinder porsche vs. 4 cylinder Fiat you do the Math
It is about to. On bringatrailer
I just saw the Land Cruiser video, is it up for sale? Where?
I have that same steering wheel on my 1978 FIAT spider!
Cool !!!! 😄😁👍
Great oversteering
Hey, what a beautiful sound this bike has. Would you recommend it for someone who haven't been on a motorcycle in a few years?
Yes one of the easiest bike to ride
@@primoracer Sounds good to me. How is the supply of spare parts?
not sure in over 10 years I never needed one
@@primoracer Seems like a sturdy motorcycle!
CHE BEL SUONO
The Fiat is gorgeous
Nice one! Great to see the 124 Sport not only being represented but passing the big boys. Which mode is it? Looks like the CC?
What is the weird strap around your arms and what’s it’s purpose? Can’t say I have ever seen such a device being used in racing before. Good to see a 124 sport in action on the track.
The strap is to replace the window net therefore protecting your arms in case of a rollover keeping it inside the vehicle so it wont get decapitated. So per the rules it is either this or a window net
@@primoracer ok thanks, I understand. As a rule out here in Oz we don’t require either nets or such a strap. Windows are mostly closed. I hope the strap doesn’t restrict movement, that would be my concern, without having used such a device. It looks like you are racing against a great mix of cars from the era. 👍
It is a great mix I love the vintage racing scene here in the USA. We race all the great tracks from the past. This days I retired the Fiat and I race my 67 Alfa GTAM
Once you get use to it (after two or so laps) you forget it is there!
@@primoracer How lucky you are to have both such cool cars to enjoy. By some chance, did you document the build of your GTAM over on the AlfaBB some years ago. I recall the build thread of the GTAM and the same guy had a red BC which he raced. 😁
Cool bike, Primo!
Its for sale therefore the clip. And yes it is cool.
Needs a bit more top end to stay with the alfa....
Needs another 50 hp. Get those heads off and gc them
League wont allow it so no I am racing this car ua-cam.com/video/9Pn0k8neN0Y/v-deo.html
Crazy stuff. Lucky baster
Hello there, this footage is incredible. I hope you were okay after that. I'm an editor at Break and we'd be interested in making an offer for your video. Please e-mail us at acquisitions@defymedia.com for details. Thanks! - Randal
Boy does that look fun
Great stuff. Youre driving the snot out of that car. Reminds me of my go carting days. I've got a 124 Sport Coupe as well. Great to see you racing a vintage 124 !
Thank You. It is a great handling car
Nice cornering, take it to the Germans!
Great car, great pilot! Please can you tell me more about 124 coupé? Which kind of tuning you did? thanks
+paolo calligaris it is a 1768 cc high compression engine with about 152 HP at the wheel with a 5 speed fiat 131 transmission purposely built for racing. It is well sorted and carries full interior.
Watching the passes you made on the 911 and 914/6 (?) was pure enjoyment. Great driving!
A real rock star!!!
I have the 124's older brother, a 1982 2000. It's a good runner but doesn't run nearly as tight as your 124. That 124 can't be stock. Very nice.Love your videos! Thanks!!
I totally agree, they are fast in a straight line but that's it!
Great driving in the rain there Primo. Under breaking too, just awesome. I noticed you were given the finger from another "classy" 510 owner at 2.16. I ponder & wonder if the 4 cylinder Datsuns pulling away in the straights are not cheating with stoker motors??? With my 1600 bc coupe in the eighties my classy gesture was showing them the rear of my car! ha
Show 'em how to do it, Primo.. all they have is horsepower.
1750.
hey Primo, is that a 1750 or 2 liter Alfa?
This Fiat 124 sport coupe is bloody fast! Way to go Primo, thank you for showing us and demonstrating to those skeptical people how underrated these Fiats were when new! For those who have watched this and the other videos just make a list of all the larger engine cars that this little Fiat out muscles, out handles and out brakes! Awesome coupe Primo!.
That is because all the Porsches in front decided to make it a fair race for the little Fiat (which only has a 1.8 four cylinder BTW!)What happened was that after the drivers meeting (before the race) the Porsche owners all agreed to remove a spark plug wire and do the race with one less cylinder! NOT! You don’t win races in the straights; you win with suspension, brakes and Fiats reliable twin cam engine.
I only see Porches around you. Aren't you suppose to be slower?
Smoking Primo, Literally!!!
Nice moves. Nobody starts better than Primo.
Go Primo! (watch out for those street cars when it's wet..)
Master of the rain, king of the road, start last and finish 3rd (and first in his class).
Very cool and very virtuoso. Those with deeds does spin and those without does nothing.
He takes fine lines and obviously he is better on the corners than the blue car.
