As others have said, that is chicken of the woods, and it is an edible variety. However, don't take our words for it! A park ranger would be the best person to ask if you can meet one face-to-face. But yeah, I'm like 99% sure that is chicken of the woods. 🍄👍

Just this morning there was an en masse of geese flying over my apartment building making a huge racket, as geese do. There must have been seventy or eighty. I thought to bring my phone but decided only to observe.

My grandfather lived by a lake and told one year a massive herd of geese landed just before sunset when night came there was a sudden cold snap that froze the lake solid and when sunrise came those geese flew away with the whole lake leaving a depression where the lake used to be.He wasn't lying to me,was he?

Thanks for your comment. If u go to eastern Long Island - they are everywhere,,,eating on people's lawn, hanging out on the roads - the cause of literally hundreds of car accidents every years, killing several hundred of the deer

As a kid I spent many summers in Woodstock with my siblings. We would stay with our great grandmother and grandmother. Many long, slow barefoot days...outside most of the tie.

I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? it is called a Polaris Slingshot. they have been around for several years now. I owned 2. Very fun rides for sure and as you can tell, they draw a lot of attention.

A surprisingly unprotected property, no high fence not obvious security systems, no guard. He must have felt nobody would travel into that part of the upstate woods for too many reasons at the time.

My family also came to America around the early 1900s legally as well. Been in NYC ever since.
