Helicopter Flying around a few farms crop scouting and a few trips to points beyond, chicago, Indiana and Ohio. Practice crop dusting...pedal turns at 75 feet AGL..yikes. Mostly in the 44. Posted in memory of Chris Laskey. A great friend who taught me a lot about aviation and life. God Bless Chris!

woof men, let me drive your tractor???, please
Thanks for your video. I'd like to see a 60 foot Honeybee draper on that combine.
Exhaust be lookin like a borzoi.
I hated my 4894 went to a 9280
farm I worked on did the same, can't even compare
That 4894 has got some pulling power and alot of muscle under the hood 💪 👍
Had a neighbor that had a 4490, then traded it for a 4690. Both took 5 acres to turn around at the end of the field. Had decent power. But I’d never trade our Versatiles.
What model versatiles?
nothing would out turn them in 4 wheel steer, your neighbor clearly wasn't doing something right.

Nice tractor are they the Scania v8 motor?
I think it only was the big 4994 who did have a V-8 Scania engine.

I'm always impressed to see one of these Edsels of the Tractor world still running.
Nice looking Tractor!
I like your video, I am saying from Bangladesh.
Pretty nice spread you have there. Envy those that don't have to irrigate.
Inexperienced operator? Had me a little nervous with the reverse clutch action. LOL. At the same time the way those transmissions work a person is pretty much all in or all out of the clutch. Goes from creeping to moving pretty quick.
I had just turned 12 and it was my first time driving this particular tractor. I know the video wasn't described as such. My dad uploaded the video.
@@geroufamilyfarms334 that's child abuse , ! making you run the crappy red equipment. Just teasing.
Wondering if I can find a low hour 48 94 for sale?
Does your 3 point still work like it came from the factory, I never could get mine to work on my 4894??
I can't say it has been trouble free, but yes it works. There is both a relay and a fuse to reset the position sensing circuit under the steering console. That position reset circuit is enabled by cycling the clutch up and down. Can also wire directly into the control board under the right hand console if all else fails. It's not a high use machine for us more like a working piece of nostalgia. Still a neat tractor I think.

Nice tractors
Thanks!
Minable démonstration!!!!.............. conducteur incapable, matériel non préparé!!...
good video minus the drumming!
We had a 4890 then got the 4894 back in the 80s. I love em. O still have dreams about em. 🤷🏻😂😂
Thanks. This was some of my son's first plowing all by himself. If you get a chance to get back in one, you may find they're smaller than they seemed in the 80s when these were big tractors.
More Vidya of the 48. Inside cab and out. They getting to be a rare bird and out of all the tractors me and dad owned or rented the ji case was never one of em . So I do enjoy vids of em .
Can do. It's a tractor that still gets some use every so often.
It moves it right along!
I'm a green man but that red is lookin good today!!👍💪💪
Thank you
The 7 shank looks like a big load
Generally its a pretty good match, Certainly could use some front weight.. Here was uphill on some endrows, mostly clay ground. My son did the driving this fall and it was running a little deeper than 8".
CASE Power!
Scandi power
That’s a hoss of a tractor. I bet it could drag a bigger plow than that. 👍🏼
Agree, we tried a 7 shank ripper this past fall and it worked well.
@@geroufamilyfarms334 I wouldn’t go any bigger than 7 but man it looks like it does great with 5
Love the 4894
Thank You
Awesome 4894
Thanks!
