I had the back muffler custom made with a bypass valve, so when it was closed the car was nice and quiet and when you opened it, it bypassed the rear muffler entirely.

Its not that extreme a conversion lmao. Usually what we do for Impreza lifts is just directly bolt on struts from a Forester or Outback + a handfull of other bits from those cars. These things are incredibly easy to lift.

Hey, there's a lot, but I'll try to list what I can remember :) - higher comp pistons and 20v rods - 300/294 kelfords cams - kelfords valve springs and retainers - head clearanced for cams - COP conversion - ported head - shimless buckets conversion - whole rotating assembly balanced - 4-1 exhaust manifold with custom exhaust - custom intake manifold (done by MRP) - 20v oil pump - standalone ECU (ECUMasters) + tune - thinner Cometic head gasket and ARP head studs and probably a lot more I cant remeber right now. Yep, dialed with a degree wheel. As for cold starts, when it's above 10 C outside - no problems. Below that it needs just a little help with the gas pedal for the first few seconds to stay running.

Well done man, I am slightly annoyed at how many camshaft install videos there are but then very few are able to dial them properly, Did you get around to going to the Dyno ? Also do you have much overlap at tdc ?

@@madfortar2008 of the top of my head I do not remember the overlap figures. Yes I did tune it on a dyno, made 192hp and 175Nm on a hot day (35 C).

It's forester struts and some strut spacers (20mm front and 40mm rear). Other than that it's just some trailing arm spacers to position the rear wheels correctly. Oh and a welded rear diff - makes all the difference. Also it's a manual, so has "low range" :D
