I guess I don't understand the point. When you have a CVT, I'd rather have the engine rev up and hold at the RPM that produces the most power and have the transmission do its thing.

i do notice sometimes even when spacing the ghost cars they do seem to catchup with eachother, i put two sets together, race to victory and bull and horse,i have noticed the ktm xbow car is like a mini rocket, even i had trouble getting away from it.the car is fast.a pit lane will add even more fun to racing with re-fueling

Can you run two amps off this? A sub monoblock and a small amp for my 6x9s?

Where did you get the paddle shifter extensions from? Are they a direct replacement or a stick on?

I using the same speakers in front and in rear alpine r 2 coaxial and amplifier i am using is Pioneer 874 high res audio with blaupunkt wiring 8 gauge my amplifier is getting tripped at high volume. please provide solution.

I just bought the Speedway Champions set to get some banked curves I HATE them I am also new to the hobby so might fall in love with them after time my first set was the DTM Digital Speed Memories.

All carrera track isn't identical, although people say it is....some or maybe just older evolution doesnt have the same amount of red clips, I even got some that takes no red clips. The track has a hard enough time staying together with 2 red clips. The instructions manual says absolutely don't mix evolution with digital and this is why. It continually tries to separate. My carrera track does a thing where it quits and resets, too much. I think its cause I mixed the evolution with digital and the connections arent as good. Live and learn. Your experience may vary. I've bought track off ebay and gotten an OK deal.

I've also contacted carrera themselves & after countless emails , they are not replying to my questions 😑. Surely they should put something on the box set saying it comes with a 2 pin socket !! Thanks everyone for the advice so far , hopefully hear from you guys soon 😊

Hiya , I brought this set in the uk 🇬🇧 from France & discovered after setting it all up it comes with a 2 pin connection to the wall socket . As I live in the uk 🇬🇧 is there a adapter to convert this into a 3 pin so I can use this set ? Please reply ASAP as well disappointed that I can't use this set . Can you please set a u tube vid on this please , thank you

When you do fire up the track and cars you will need to run a good few laps before the brushes of the motor have bedded in, and give you the performance you expect, them only start doing tuning and wheel truing, cleaning of rails is a once a year process useing either goddards metal polish or autosol metal polish

You are one hundred percent correct, I too have several carrera cars I run and all the original scalextric cars, I must say that I have 4 entry level scalextric cars all of them give faster lap times than carrera, I love there build quality but the weigh a lot more and are top heavy causeing slides and fall off's, the other thing about the new carrera cars I have, I had to replace front tyres as they were too large and did not clear the track when slotted, there are good points and bad points for all brands, I agree flat track is to race on, you guys are being ripped off in SA, a digital chip for scalex costs $40 here a evo car around $65, urethane tyres around $15 for a set thats ozzie dollars, ( so a car here cost just a bit more than a case of beers and less than a bottle of whisky) 🤣

Love the "Pink Pig" livery on the Porsche. So named for the cuts of meat as they are painted on the car. I may end up buying the NSR analogue one yet.

Given the number of track pieces you now have, it may pay to invest in the Autorennbahnplaner software so that you can design layouts that use all of it. It is software specifically for the Carrera system, which covers all of Carrera's different track systems. In this way any layouts you design can maximize your track sections while reducing the physical area required to make them.

I totally agree with the things you said. But I think to stop the work with 50, it's to early, you're to young. It's better you reduce your work to 4 or 3 days a week when you're 50. Also if you lower your livestyle - you have hobbies, ideas, want to do creative things, repair the house - that all costs money. And if you really want to stop working you need a lot of money (! ! !) - and you said you're not "rich" , just "have enough money". We all have the same thoughts about stop work earlier. But it's better you reduce your work to 4 or 3 days a week - or look for an easier job to take the pressure off. If you have enough money it's not a problem. But to stop work with 50 can be dangerous because you can reach 80 - and so many things can happen in a period of 30 years. I don't want to destroy your dreams but think over well before you do it. Best wishes.
