    Since 1910, China's traditional clothing has been the Manchurian cheongsam. It is a shame to copy Vietnam's Ao Dai or Korea's Hanbok and create a new word called Hanfu. Goryeo clothing was popular in the Mongolian royal family and spread to the Ming Dynasty, but Mao Zedong destroyed it all, so no original remains remain.

    ÁO DÀI ORIGINATES FROM VIETNAM AND IS IMBUED WITH VIETNAMESE CULTURAL IDENTITY!!! There are Chinese people here who think that Ao Dai comes from Cheongsam, but Cheongsam has only appeared since 1920 and Ao Dai has appeared a long time ago. The appearance of Ao Dai originates from Giao Linh ao dai ( áo Giao Lĩnh ) (17th century) - the most primitive style of Vietnamese ao dai. And the Ao Dai is a Westernized modernized outfit from the Five-bodied Ao Dai ( áo Ngũ Thân Lập Lĩnh) (1744). Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat is considered to have invented the five-bodied ao dai - the forerunner of the Ao Dai. And of course, countries always have cultural interference and influence on each other, but each country has and always retains its inherent characteristics. Just like the efforts to assimilate after the long cruel invasions of the Chinese against Vietnamese, the Vietnamese have always maintained their own cultural identity that has existed for thousands of years. And Vietnam is a very special country, their culture is an intersection between East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia. And I think the Chinese people in the comments section should respect the culture and traditional costumes of other countries, not only Vietnam but also Korea and Japan. And once again, I would like to emphasize: Ao Dai, Nón lá, Hanbok, Kimono are NOT from China!!!!. And if you want to know more about Ao Dai, try to find out ^^ ❤. I love Áo Dài Việt Nam and all four traditional dress in this video. Pls respecful other countries traditional dress. They're all so beautiful.

    Vietnamese culture should not be classified as "Sinophere culture", it should be separate in singular one. Sino or Sinophere culture have been died... Sinophere culture now is only pride for Mainland Chinese only, they are all observing people around and blaming the others stealing their culture... Then Sinophere culture is only exclusive for mainland Chinese, but on the world level, that culture have been neglected, Vietnam totally abandon Han/Non Scripts, Vietnamese Lunisolar calendar calendar have not synchronous with Chinese calendar... Japan/Korea also nearly abandon Chinese scripts... The main factor of Chinese influence on Vietnam, Japan, Korea is Confucian, Taoism have been disconnected totally more than 100 years, and no one continue to spread and practice those doctrines... Vietnam modern principal culture forming by: Traditional Vietnamese culture (worship local gods, local folks, local rituals), Buddhism, Confucian/Taoism, Socialism by Vietnamese styles, Scientific doctrines for all domain of life. Confucius/Taoism are only existing in Vietnamese culture by subconscious and no longer in education for them at all... Other like Tet Holiday is only normal habit of mankind since all people around the world have their own type of new year celebration, Vietnamese Tet Holiday celebrate in Vietnamese ways and meanings following Vietnam Lunisolar calendar...Vietnamese Lunisolar calendar in the past was coincident with Chinese due to 1000 years Chinese domination and near coincident before and after 1000 years Chinese domination due to Vietnamese and Chinese grow nearly same type of crop then they need nearly same seasons... Chinese culture is no longer popular for people over the world meaning it died, which people see and calling Chinese culture are only "fossil" of old time.
