Yes, yes, we all love the old commercials -- but newer content is composed of things I'm making as a filmmaker. My wife calls my choice to go to film school when I'm 50 the "most delightful midlife crisis".
1930s Armistice Day Parade, Football Game (no sound)
Based on automobiles seen this Armistice Day parade occurred in the mid-1930s in downtown Fargo, ND, as filmed from the sidewalk on the east side of Broadway at the Great Northern depot, looking northwest. The football game is likely the one advertised on a banner in the parade, "Fargo vs Grand Forks".

The Ancient Order of United Workmen was a mutual benefit organization that evolved into an insurance company, but they were structured like a fraternal brotherhood until the mid-20th-century, sort of like the Freemasons. Most of this was filmed on 2nd Avenue North in Fargo, facing East from First Presbyterian Church (the Merchant Bank building and the Graver building are most obvious) and in fr...
LunaTique Boutique Grand Opening 30 Second Commercial

Commercial I made for my wife's grand opening for her art project, LunaTique, with the help of Bill & Amy & Their Multiple Personalities, local performers who had a good grasp of the shoppe's "vibe".
Lumberjack Time, 1960s (no audio)

A little lumberjack work, some kitties, a lot of forest. Jean & Trox was a photo shop located in Tempe, Arizona, and the last few seconds appear to be burning out the end of the roll before dropping it off for developing.
Superkids, 1960s (no audio)

Lots of stabilization needed for this very shaky video of kids being kids in Superman outfits. From an 8mm home movie, source unknown.
Echoes of a Home: Final Project, Film 265

Final project for my 16mm Film class: it was filmed on 16mm film, uses non-sync sound, and Alvin Lucier's re-recording audio technique, to create an atmospheric, uncomfortable experimental short film.
Square Dancing, Early 1960s (no sound)

Home movie of a squaredance event, early 1960s based on other reels in the same set. Very underexposed with color balance skewed very yellow, presumably because the gym was lit with sodium vapor lamps.

"Foley" Assignment, FILM265

The assignment was to record foley for a film and edit it, all within one class period. One minute segment from Buster Keaton's "One Week".
The Lake, Halloween, Christmas, and Washington DC (no audio)

Home Movies of Strangers: a family enjoying their time together. It appears to be the same family as the other vacation films, but about 5 years earlier. They swim in a lake, dress for halloween, go to Washington DC and celebrate Christmas.
Camping in the 1960s (no sound)

Unknown source, although this appears to be the same family from the "western vacation" movie I posted earlier. A family on a camping vacation, playing in the water, looking at mountains, feeding fish in a river. There is a happy dog.
That 70s Basement (no sound)

Converted from 8mm film, these dudes are screwing around with a movie camera in their basement, apparently in the 1970s or 80s, including some cool experimentation with stop motion. I do not know the source of this film.
ANIM116: Create A 'World' In Blender
Переглядів 187 місяців тому
The assignment was our first 3D animation in Blender: make a 'place', and you have to have some animation in it. I made an office, with the blinds moving from the heat rising from the radiator.
A Visit To Grandpa's Farm, 1960s (No Sound)

Two children visit grandpa's farm: 8mm film from some strangers, purchased at an antique mall. International Harvester combines figure prominently. I believe this is from the mid to late 1960s.

Silly Goat
Fuck inflation 😆
99 cents 🤤
I don't usually get Taco Bell because people get bathroom problems from eating it.
This was one infamous commercial
The Chihuahua was retired because of his VA Carlos Alrazqui resorting to veganism(I believe). But he's still a very iconic mascot, and they should resurrect this Mexican pooch(same goes with Dairy Queen's Lips).
So is this Oscar’s voice or not?
YO QUIERO FAIRIES
No one is going to mention Tony Hale aka Buster Bluth aka Gary Walsh. This was probably one of his first acting gigs.
Arizona smells funny 😂😂😂😂
Funny thing, I live in Arizona and it usually smells fine BUT today it does smell funny because it rained last night
Guess it depends on which part of AZ, probably Tucson.
@@l-wolverine2211 indeed, I live near Phoenix and we smell fine
Just 99 cents each... this would be impossible today what a time :(

Are Charley Johnson, robin HuebNer, Daron Selvig, meteorologist Tom Szymanski, and Dan hammer sports introduced after KVLY 11 was under the NBC peacock and on the valley’s choice for local news! In a white box is before KVLY 11 was under the NBC peacock and on the news 11 @ 10:00 am in a red strip on the KVLY opening @ this hour rerunning on NBC this year?
Back when Taco Bell was great. Nowadays it's just not the same for some reason.
