Viessmann Vitoden 100W WB1B not igniting...
Переглядів 72 тис.13 років тому
Viessmann Vitodens 100w WB1B boiler installed and operated in service mode, I run the boiler with cover off to show that the same procedures with the cover on result in to boiler not igniting, primary pump is wired according to the manufacturer spec. On the digital display, it should show the flames on the bottom right corner BUT nothing is showing... except the pump icon!....
Developer option password pls ?
what’s the name of this headunit?
Its in the title
I have a head unit that has the same password and display, probably not the same model though. How can I find the Brand name for the device? I can’t find Nedehe anywhere. I have serial and build number and all the other information. By chance does your head unit have ZLink?
i will try. tks u
Thank you this video helping me alot
Was hard to see the screw driver showing where to push the release pin but was able to figure it out eventually and removed the tank. Thanks for posting this, it's the only one that shows how to remove the tank!
Thanks so much!!

Hi
Lynn Bannister hi Lynn 😜
is it possible to separate the bottle to remove the filter for cleaning?
camal friday no way, it can't be done.
Daddy I can't believe I was three in that video I am so small!
You might want to grease the bottom of the reservoir, so next time it will pop out even easier. Thanks for the video. I had no idea it popped out.
To all thumps down watcher. Its been 4 years now since i installed my boiler. I am not a license installer nor an electrician. I managed to read books about boilers, how they work and operate. I had few installer came to my home for estimates. and they were way over priced to the point that my return on investment (ROI) would take 15-20 years. but I am not a person who wants to wait that long to see some revenue back. After studying and asking tons of questions in online forums. I decided to pick the Viessmann Vitodens 100. has clean and easy installation. I bought it online and picked up all the other materials from homedepot, lowe's, pextubing.... After working my full time job, I go home and put 2-3 hours in best days working on installing this unit, it took me over a month to finish it BUT i did it in the summer. so i didnt have to worry about cold weather. be smart. Best experience ever. If you are a home owner and good at DIY projects, and you are allowed to do all work at your home, then please get your permit from your AHJ in your town, buy your materials and start.... right, go ahead and start your project. A lot of license contractors arent happy to see you pick your sleeves up and grabbing a soldering tool. Internet is full with bad people who arent happy to see you succeed. BTW, I just installed a Solar panels on my home and it saving money on electric and making me money by creating SRECs. again I dont and wont hire contractors.
+nassif70 excellent dedication to DIY, this video is an inspiration. fuck the haters
+Fahmi Safa Thanks for the kind words, My boiler has been working since i uploaded this video, and i havent had not a single issue. As long as i see the savings in my wallet, thumps down dont bother me at all. Life is beautiful :-)
nassif70 How was your boiler going? you chose a good model I have that on too. Are you in the UK?
Does this boiler require a low-loss header?
+Ian Cohan Low-loss header is optional, and also it cost more money than soldering few copper pipes. Its up to you.
The starter motor gear is not engaging the ring gear on the flywheel.
I had a dead battery, i put so much trust in a 12V solar charging panel.
Ah. So you got her working again. Good deal!
Sorry for the over due reply, I did mange to fix the problem. I have a Low Water Cut Off circuit install into the piping system (primary loop), its not in the video. and what it does it shuts the boiler off in the event of no water in the system, basically a safety device to prevent the boiler from running dry ad creating fire. all i had to do was purge the system from air and making sure there is no air in the LWCO circuit and that fixes "my problem" @Julia Wu 1- Connect a water hose to the lowest drain valve in your system 2- Open the drain valve and let it drain into the street (floor drain, etc..) 3- Connect a water hose to the closest water faucet in your home next to the boiler and connect the other side to onto another purge line in the same loop of the same heating zone (will call this Water supply) 4- Now let the water run in the system for few minutes until you get water pouring out with no air bubbles in it. you will know when you get nice stream of water pouring out 5- Close the valve in number 1 (purge-drain) 6- Now close water supply in #3 Remember, we did not touch the boiler water pressure. and thats how you purge your system of air
I was about to put audio as voice-over but my kid cracked me up, so i said let me keep for a souvenir, also kid was my helper for bleeding the fluid hose
Hi sir, I am having the same problem. How do you "bleed the boiler from the air by running the primary/secondary pumps for at least an hour"? Could you link me to a step by step procedure? I don't know anything about burners.... thanks in advance!
@J son, make sure you bleed the pipes from the air, also check your boiler heat exchanger's water pressure, it should not be 12 or more...also did you try the service mode? @MrJameysut, there was air in my LWCO, after bleeding the lines i had no problems.. @Ken Bone, Air in the lwco, that was my issue...let me guess? you were born an expert?
Hi, I have a similar problem. The burner icon does not show but there is no fault code either. We have no hot water in the central heating. The thermostat etc is fine. Its the boiler (100-W open-vent) that is not firing
@giov1211, The problem was that there was air in the heat exchanger and that was preventing the boiler from firing, once i bleed the boiler from the air by running the primary/secondary pumps for at least an hour, the boiler fired nicely. and so far i am not having any problems. good luck with your boiler
How did you do that? Could you please explain how to run primary and secondary pump to release the air?
Hi, have you resolved the problem? I'm having exactly the same problem with the same boiler, I haven't actually connected the boiler into the "y" plan but it should fire up on service mode anyway. Please let me know. Thank you. Ps. If I manage to resolve it first I will post the solution here if that helps
