How did you get those 3 bolts off for the inner clutch cover that’s blocked by the frame? I can’t get a ratchet in there what did you use?

2 inch on my 18 has rack. So no. I went 2.5. 2.25 would probably be perfect level 2.5 u can't tell but u can 😂

Shift detent is factory welded. Double nut the studs for removal. That connecting rod looked to be aftermarket. A common mistake with the YZ85 is putting the base gasket on backwards and that motor internally has been visited at least once. Thanks for posting.

That seal is not the right one that’s an oil seal it shouldn’t have holes in it

I’m having the same issue on mine except I’ve already had the starter replaced and it’s doing the same thing. Took it to one mechanic and they never could figure it out. I’m gonna try and take it to another and tell them to look at the grounds. I can’t get it started to get it up on ramps to look for the grounds and I don’t want to Jack it up in my gravel driveway.

I have a 2006 Prowler as well. Mine is Red. I had all the same issues that you did. I just had the top end rebuilt, trans rebuilt, and I had to straighten the passenger side front end as well. I also installed a winch. All in all, it's not the best brand of UTV's out there, but when it runs, it's a friggin tank! I live in northern Michigan and I've never had a problem driving in the woods deer hunting or pushing snow with it. your video's on the Prowler were awesome. I'm going to take some of your ideas and put them to use on mine.

You removed the retainer clip but didn't pull the cam shaft why not it would have slid right out inspect bearings and everything just s though ?
