@@chris93703 I’m still going to send it off to ANACS at the very least to see if they can find what VAM it is being how there’s a ton for this date. Also ANACS is cheaper so I wouldn’t necessarily be wasting money. What VAM do you think it could be being how it has most of the die marks the 60 has but yes I fully agree the nock is not long enough? Could it be a version before the die chip occurred?

Yes however these numbers were found a a dollar bill and then the other was on this 20 dollar bill so not sure if it’s a counterfeit more so than just stupid luck to find similar numbers only off by one digit. @@Chris-rr5rj well the 1970-D Lincoln cent that I have looks like the reverse die of a 69 was used being how that date is not really known for the floating roof and missing FG initials at the bottom right hand corner of the Lincoln memorial which makes it a bit of a cool find if your into collecting Lincoln cent varieties and errors.

The only part that’s not really all there would be the tip of the arrows shaft missing the die chip that makes it look longer but all the other die marks are there? So what VAM do you think it could be? I use VAMWORLD to identify VAMS and trust me EVERY Morgan has a VAM you just have to identify it first. And it’s not a waste to send off any coin because it’s never a mistake to do so unless it’s super obvious and in this case there’s too many similarities in die marks for me to not want to at least send it to ANACS being that they are cheaper, making mistakes is how you learn!! Don’t ever be afraid to make them. As the saying goes, “always a teacher, always a student” thanks for commenting and watching CarlosP! @@Adristdon nah honestly I had the wildest theory behind that. So I used to watch every single one of their live streams and then I remember that one day, Jay The Voice of the show and husband of the current host Miss B mentioned that his wife was getting new inventory from a coin dealer that was nearby or they had just met and that the coin dealer was able to get her the goodies that they would find an auction off in his basement of his coin store and the coin shop owner and his wife would be the only ones allowed to go down into his secret basement where he kept all his good coins. I don’t know about you, but that sounded really weird to me like no way in hell am I letting my wife go into no basement with another man without me being there and then shortly after that Jay started getting sick which seemed normal for his age, but they would always update you when he would come back or would be away from being sick, so I knew this was not the case, my honest opinion is he probably caught her cheating with that coin dealer and he just up and decided to leave and basically left everything to her. But then again those are just speculations but no, I highly doubt he’s dead

@ same😅 it really hurt after me inside after I did it BUT I definitely learned that I absolutely should NOT use MS 70 on toned coins as all it does is make it duller. I’m sure ezest would make it blast white but I just wanted to make it shine more without removing the color and that wasn’t the case. Thanks for watching and commenting too Tom!

lol true you should never clean a coin, HOWEVER, MS 70 is one of the only products on the market that MANY of experienced numismatists use in order to RESTORE a coin rather than clean. When most people CLEAN a coin they tend to use something abrasive which will leave tiny hairline scratches that are obvious signs of improper cleaning techniques. What I’m doing is NOT cleaning a coin but rather RESTORING the coin by removing any surface contaminates that will make the coin show a bit better depending on the coin. There are time where even MS 70 is a bad idea because some coins benefit from the NATURAL skin a coin has (contaminates/toning) and removing it or using MS 70 or products alike actually make the coin look worse. If it’s minor grime, then MS 70 will make your coin blast white if you use the proper technique when using the product. Thanks for the comment and watching I know when I first started collecting I was terrified of cleaning but if you watch a channel called ROCKYS RAMBLINGS, and others like COINHELPU than you’ll see they use this on coins that get graded and they PASS with a straight grade😊

Some "restoration" is technically acceptable if done properly.. hence the labeling "improperly cleaned" 🤓

Old roll paper is a good option just really slow process being how older paper was more acidic and the ink would bleed through the paper too. Another good option but a bit harder to get are old bank bags made of a specific type of cloth that would cause some of that toning. Also humidity seems to speed up the process but I honestly think it’s a balance of temperature moisture material used to hold them and if there are other silver coins near it or on top of it. I’m thinking older envelopes would do the same as the rolls! Thanks for watching and commenting too by the way! Good luck on getting the results you’re looking for!

Just gave me them because I asked to see the ones he had left over in his amo box which was at least 50 dollars face left and started talking to him about the numismatic value behind some of the ones he had. Thanks man! You should have seen the amo box that was full to the rim with all sorts of kennedys and benjis! Gonna parter up with the bullion dealer who bought this to sort them out and get them sold there was a ton of BU high MS coins I saw and told the owner about so I’ll be helping him out sort through them by grade/date/value and sell them individually rather than in bulk with the intention of of co running a coin store with one of his current associates!

Damn, that’s a first I’ve heard of this happening. Did you check your checkout list to make sure you didn’t accidentally order one instead of 4? I’ve done that where I forget to hit the right quantity but have the right item in my checkout. The main frustrating part would be the fact that there’s no customer service number to call when these kinda of things happen which again fortunately for me hasn’t but sorry to hear that it has to you.
