Nice
Captian tool
capt sounded constipated LOL..Nice vid though.
I was the last Brasilia pilot hired by Via Air... I did 4 flights with them and then they went out of business grrrr
Captain’s voice was annoying.
Nice captain but very adhesive lips
Not much room between your head and the overhead panel. The SAAB has plenty of room.
If I was a first officer I’d like to have a captain like that on left seat, calm and cool.
Learned from some of the best back then
Top muito top nosso Brasília emb 120 pelo mundo parabéns pelo pouso
Enjoyed the video. The video quality could have been better, but the captain looks like one our old Comair E120 drivers.
He was ha ha ha. First name of John ;-)
Hi John!!!
Love the NON standard calls off the instrument approach..
For CRM it's "safer" both understand each other than strictly follow the standard calls
That's not true at all. Especially for Cat II/III approaches.
There are not many Emb 120 cockpit vids in the last few years, so this was a treat to find. I hope we'll see more of them from you. Thanks for posting.
Thanks my friend unfortunately the Bro days are well behind me. I think I’ve got some footage laying around somewhere hopefully can find some time to edit and upload
@@fultsp1 how you know you are at the correct downwind leg distance in the emb 120?
@@fultsp1the 1.5 nautical mile
What a beautiful landing! Like butter!
sterile cockpit concept... honestly don't like captains like that.
He's nothing...wait till you fly with a captain that won't shut up about scenery and crap while youre on short final. This guy wasn't bad, and the cockpit WAS sterile. There was no conversation by either pilot about anything other than the operation of the aircraft.
It was a gusty landing with apparently very poor braking conditions and likely a short runway. They had likely just finished their landing brief and the only thing mentioned was keep it straight (in reference to the gusty winds, he was keeping the FO calm and trying to simplify things.) I think it was perfect CRM and the captain seemed like a nice guy to fly with. 🤷🏻♂️ That was a pretty stressful landing scenario by the way - they were likely near minimums (why he specifically stated “continuing”) in winds like that being a seemingly low hour FO with an experienced captain watching your every move. Absolutely awesome landing as well.
@@EstorilEm Yeah, looking at my comment I don't know why I said that. Sounds like good crm indeed and the conditions didn't look the best, you're right.
I’m a check airmen now and looking back he did exactly what a good captain should do. He’s being an active pilot monitoring. Everything he says has purpose and is related to the conditions of the flight. Sterile does not mean no talking and callouts only…
your captain yaks a lot
I won't give away the airline, but you were my FO and he was CA on a flight about a year ago. I was super impressed by your company. Usually fly the one option I have in the "big city" you guys serve, but you guys were great!!
how you do to guet the ATC audio in the video ??
It was probably an uncontrolled field
Very nice job
Awesome video what company?
I know Via air used to fly to KBKW
when was this buddy
