Tra le prede più comuni per il GHEPPIO in Italia vi sono i piccoli rettili, qui una LUCERTOLA CAMPESTRE viene catturata dalla femmina adulta e portata ai 6 pulli nel nido, che non è altro che una piccola cengia di una parete rocciosa.

Sei milioni di STORNI trascorrono l'inverno a Roma, affollando i cieli della capitale. Una tale concentrazione di prede non poteva che attrarre il predatore per eccellenza di questi uccelli: il FALCO PELLEGRINO. Gli storni dal canto loro cercano di difendersi disorientando il predatore con il loro numero e le loro evoluzioni.

È una creatura meravigliosa e utilissima all'uomo se lo vedete non lo molestate,non uccidetelo!!! Vi libera da parecchi insetti molesti (mosche,formiche,zanzare, tafani, vespe, pappataci, scarafaggi, blatte e pure le cavallette che distruggono le piante) senza che dovete ricorrere a insetticidi o pesticidi (peraltro pericolosi per la salute) lasciatelo vivere libero nelle campagne e nel vostro giardino!!!

Do kestrels in italy really eat that many lizards or are these unique in that regard?
i think lizards are one of their favourite pray, here in Italy. Probably at your latitude (..where?) little roditors represents the most of the feed.
How Synonyms this birds of pray are towards raising they chick . I Truly salute them

A little bird, probably a sparrow, but without the head. For killing this kind of prey infact, the kestrel use to broken the cervical, and sometimes happens this.
What animal did it bring at 1:30 making all that noise? Hard to see
It is not the dead animal making the noise, it is the 2 kestrels
