Omg I remember this. My jaw hit the floor when it happened and within a hour, social media went crazy. Varner was fired the next day from his job.

I’m sure I’ve commented this before but Varner was one of my favorites when I was younger. So disappointing

The fact this entire scene I wanted to shove Varner in that campfire. I’m not apart of the LGBTQ+ community,but even I can tell that outing someone would be so awful for them.

Jeff saying this and then trying to apologize didn’t seem like he was sincere and it felt like he was just sorry his comment wasn’t received well.

I know Debbie is crazy but I loved her a lot in this moment.

I feel very bad for Zeke and he didn’t deserve it. But I also feel a little bad for Varner because he was very desperate and wanted to make the jury so bad and threw everything he could, it just was stupid what he did

Varner out here trying to say he's a fucking ally and respects Zeke and all that is such bullshit. He was shown for who he really is. Zeke handled that amazingly. I don't know if I would have been so... calm.

Varner is such a fake ally. At first, he says “I fight for the rights of trans people every day. I would never hurt anyone here.” Then, two seconds later, he tells Jeff, “I’m arguing for my life. I feel like I have to throw everything at the wall.” It just sounds so inauthentic. At first, he seemed passionate about standing up for trans people, but then he feels burdened, as if to say, “Oh, what do I have to do to get everyone to stop yelling at me”

one thing i will point out is that he feels that “i’m the trans person. people ask me questions about it and im known for that” is bc YALL CIS PEOPLE don’t know SHIT about trans people and REFUSE to do research on ur own. yall make trans people uncomfortable.

This tribal began and I thought damn, Varner is on fire! Then just when I felt he was about to flip things, he went completely nuts. It's pretty much Michael Scott in The Office telling a killer joke, then immediately spoiling it by saying he'd shoot Toby twice over Hitler and Bin Laden.

This made me so mad; I mean what if people in Zeke's life weren't cool with him being Transgender and Varner probably didn't realize or care that he just outed him in front of millions of people all for 'deception' Varner, not cool with how that was handled I am so glad Jeff laid into him about that. Zeke, even though he was amazingly calm and strong throughout all of that; probably should have done what the other tribe members did and yelled at Varner.

Hope we stopped working with trans people after this because he is an a-hole.
