Reviewing 3 Fountain Pens from Leonardo:
1. Momento Zero - Dragon Heart is an exclusive collaboration with Salvatore Matrone of Leonardo, Klarissa Maria of The Snowy Studio and the material is by Jonathon Brooks of Carolina Pen Company. 2024 is the year of the Dragon and the pen is named Dragon Heart. The Dragon is a symbol of courage, good luck, strong and powerful. The nib is a #6 JoWo 14K gold and is a stub 1.1, ebonite feed, cartridge converter. Length 142mm or 5.59 inches
2. Momento Magico - Nuvola Special Edition Nuvola is Italian for clouds. It’s a pen that is form and function with a touch of class. It has a vintage feel that reminds me of Wedgewood China. The nib is a #6 JoWo steel broad. Piston filler with an ink window. Length 145mm or 5.71 inches.
3. Momento Zero Grande Primary Manipulation 1 - Lite is a material by Jonathon Brooks, it’s his original recipe. The MZG PM 1 Lite is a special edition. The material is translucent and has an ethereal look to it. Beautiful swirl of color. The nib is a #8 Titanium Broad with an ebonite feed. Piston filler. Length 153mm or 6.02 inches

I bought a Magna Carta at the DC pen show. The pen is gorgeous but the nib is so bad. I know they call it a gold nib but I question if it truly is🤷🏻♀️ Wish I had written with it there because I could have gotten it fixed😢Now I need to send it out to be fixed which is a bummer for a $400 pen. Great collection 💜

This is an incredible selection of pens! I love your pen and ink pairings. I'm enamored with the Taccia Palisades Aurora Night and the White Ray Pelikan M1000. Hayabusa is a great choice for the Bella di Notte (which I think you've convinced me to buy, lol!). This is my first time seeing a writing sample of Pelikan Edelstein Golden Lapis and I for sure need it now!

Hi Clare, that golden lapis is such an interesting shimmer ink combination. Not my favorite blue but that shimmer almost looks like it's a pink and yellow gold in one, so cool from your lightning xD And such gorgeous beautiful pens you have in your lineup this month! Thank you for sharing.

Nice pens. Do you write all the pens dry during the month? If not, what do you with the pens which are not emptied?
@@Sago18 Thank you for commenting. 😊😊😊 When a pen runs dry, I clean it and add another pen to my rotation. Sometimes I will add a new pen I get in so I can test it and make sure it works. It also depends on the pens. Sometimes I have more inked in a month. I’m trying to get a better handle on how many are inked. I have friends that have so many inked. It’s the age old question, how many do you keep inked? Some people say 10 at a time and I have some friends that have 50-75. 🖋️🖋️🖋️

You go Juicy Broad (s) that is some collection. And I also would have a broad in every pen, those are so fun. Feels like you are racing around on a race track on paper, so fun!!! Thanks Clare!!! The only ink on your list I have is the KWZ Sheen machine.
@@tbayless8324 Thank you for commenting. I love seeing my ink on paper. I do have a couple of fine nibs but a juicy broad is just right. I just go the KWZ and need to make sure it dries before I close my book. I do love sheen in the ink. 😊😊😊On the M1000 the medium nib is like a broad.

@@tbayless8324 M600 or M800. I do have the arte M600 it has a nice weight. I do love the M800 & M1000 sizes the best. The nibs on the M1000 are super wet. I prefer the medium nib. Will you be at any of the upcoming pen shows? Great place to try pens. 😃😃😃
