    I’m way too curious about your bed slinger bed. And how inferior it is compared to others why and how do you get good prints so fast on a bed slinger. Do the larger rectangular prints warp or print well at those speeds. And the results along the way. I also see you might be using carbon fibre as a bed? Why how?

    Use a sanding block to level the finish. Sanding with sandpaper under your fingers will just leave ridges…. Like the underside of your fingers.. you should brush left to right when applying finish, just loading your brush and starting on one side of the table leaves the other side with a thinner finish. And use a rag dipped in turpentine to remove the sanding dust. Why risk clouding the finish with water or dampness, or worse…. mineral stains from your tap water. When finishing woods like rosewood and paduck, water will leave white mineral deposits in the wood pores and look like dandruff.

    Бесполезный принтер, БЫСТРО не означает качество. В при такой скорости печать сложных моделей да ещё и с поддержками , полный провал. Оторвёт всё на первых этапах . Соглашусь что механика и сам экструдер достоин уважения и внимания!!!! Но это скорее спорт, чем печать для заработка.

      @@HonestBrothers Is that with the 4 motors you mentioned in another video, on y-axis? I can't quite see; what is the ratio of motors to belts to shafts? Do you have a few motors driving a shaft that all the belts are on, or decoupled motors driving their own belts? Related, are you running parallel wiring to the motors or separate drivers? If 2804s and TMC5160T Plus with the 10.6A current limit one could run 5 2804s at 70% their rated current (1.96) in parallel. I'm curious if that's what you're doing. Also curious what pulleys you're using. Seems with all that power you can use a larger pulley to get more teeth on the belt engaged, like 30t. I had dual y-axis setup with steppers in parallel and I was running into something above 800mm/s that caused stall whereas single motor could get to ~880mm/s. Maybe something minor with the pulleys at that speed is magnified. I did the pulley sync with energizing and disabling to get them close to synced. Was getting much more resonance before that and topping out at ~300mm/s before it was bad enough. Thinking of just focusing on single 60v 2804 for now.

    • @HonestBrothers
      @HonestBrothers Місяць тому

      @@funkdizzle3000 Y axis is 5 belts, two Nema 23's right now. I am going to switch them out for four 2804s. They are on a drive rod. The Y motors right now are on a 0.333 drive ratio to pick up speed. 60t on the motor, 20t on the drive rod. The 2804s will just go faster, so I might be able to get away with just using the 20T pulleys.

    • @HonestBrothers

      @@funkdizzle3000 motors are all in parallel when they can be. Makes tuning them a little challenging, but they are on 5160T Plus drivers. I rewrote part of the driver code so I can change the CS value on them. It helps quite a bit. Check out MattThePrintingNerd's new video, he's running the same mod.
