Yes sir just been to hot here lately I don't have AC in my shed but I have been thinking about a new build .
@@mr.gscustombaits I know about the heat, it was 105° here yesterday. I haven't built a lure in almost a month, but hoping to start a new one this weekend. I'll be watching for yours!

What your mixure on your bone color if you dont mind sharing...i like that color...
I don't count the drops or anything on it I just mix until I get what I want but opaque white brown and yellow with a touch of red.

Starting out painting lure blanks to learn how to use the airbrush but my end goal is to carve my own lures.
Yes sir carving baits is a whole different animal.
I’m just getting into painting lures and am also using True Coat on a drying rotisserie I made. I have not done any jointed baits yet but was wondering how you would keep the epoxy from locking up the swivel joints. You said you wrap them with a rubber band….. do you have any videos where you show how you do that ? I will go back thru your library and check for myself and hoping you do. I messed up my first painted lures by not getting the TrueCoat mixture just right…. (too much resin and not enough hardener). Now I weigh the mixture on a small digital scale and have not had any more problems since.

@@mr.gscustombaits Thanks for putting that video together…..definitely answered my question and gave me a lot of other informational tips that I will definitely use going forward. I use True Coat and acid brushes but like you said I have had to pick bristles off my baits more than once so a trip to Hobby Lobby is definitely in the future to get some cheap paint brushes. Like you, I live in a small town and the nearest HL is about 30 miles away so I’ll wait until I need to go to the grocery store as well to save gas. Also wondering if you have used alcohol to clean a brush after using True Coat ? Anything I can do to save a couple bucks is appreciated. I think I now have the confidence to order some Jointed Swim baits and give it a go. Anyway…..thanks for the tips, much appreciated ! Take care. Don

Yes sir seal went out on the pump not ever good takes a whole day to fix it.
Jus use a dremle make them a lil deep and in a line but start them a lil under the first one each row

We don't have those toothy critters here only walleye. Lol. I wished we had musky and pike here tho. It would be awesome for sure.
