This one had a manual transmission to start with and I wanted to keep that so I’m running the original Jeep 4 speed which is a T176 in this one. Did another one that was automatic to begin with so ran a 4L70 in it.

@@okautoparts thank you.... My motor is out of a 2010 Denali and I'm trying to figure out how I can run the 6 speed Auto trany that came with it and still have drive line room. Paddle shifters would be a nice addition also I think.

@@chrisgodfrey1923 Biggest problem with the 6L80 transmission is it's size. Most older vehicles don't have room in the transmission tunnel and require some sheet metal work to allow for clearance. That being said if your Jeep has a body lift then clearance probably won't be an issue.
