My first love, a girl I met in a group home down in Douglasville GA hit me up about a month ago, after we fell out of contact due to life getting busy. I learned she had got a aggressive type of cancer that spread so rapidly that now chemo isn't even a option. I'm 25 years old and she's 23, I haven't abused drugs in damn near 8 years , I've never been mentally well and the medication I abused in the past is prescribed to me now. I've been taking a extra here and a extra there these past few weeks. I can tell I'm slipping , I'm going to see her soon , I'm spending Christmas with her, but I know the timeframe , and I know it's about to get bad. I just hope I make it out the other side this time. Music and the pills have been the only thing keeping me intact.
