What?! It’s a love story that I *do* like. The two (gorgeous) people trauma bonded and got along well. They didn’t know what day would be their last. It happens in real life. Obviously it’s usually one or the other, no time or energy for romance at all in survival scenarios, or as soon as a person has any extra energy, se*, companionship, and romance. Certainly the story here focuses more on the political elements than just the love story. But a movie doesn’t have to have one single element, does it? It was definitely not portraying the English as heroes fighting the bad French and Indians. It showed different tribes fighting for the French. The British military was not portrayed positively lol. The main protagonists included Mohicans, indigenous people. The main villain, Magua, was seeking revenge because of the BAD things the *British* had done. I get if it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I don’t understand dismissing it because you didn’t pay attention or are just not used to seeing certain things on screen. 🤔 I see that you end up discussing and debating this, but I’m going to assume this talk is just not for me. It sounds as though it was too complex and too… multifaceted for most of you?! Hopefully, you’re more open minded and insightful about things that actually matter.
