Irene's best friend and only child, her beautiful daughter Carly, passed to esophageal-gastric cancer. Like so many of us, this devastating experience sent her on a spiritual quest. My name is Kjerstin and my son Philip has led me on this journey since he transitioned from Rhabdomyosarcoma in June of 2020 at 31. Philip was my first born and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a young child. He was so full of life, his energy filled the house and my heart, and I was lost after he left, but I felt he wasn’t gone. I always expected him to leave before me, and he would tell me he wouldn’t get to grow old. When my mom left nearly 30 years before she sent signs that helped plant the seed that our loved ones never leave us, but Philip has brought that home to me loud and clear. When I learned about HPH I knew I had found a family of like-minded parents.

I’m an American living in Romania and have two beautiful children; my son Rhodes, 20 and my daughter Briseis, forever 23. My kind, compassionate Briseis was diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer and in less than a year she passed on March 14, 2024. She left behind a legacy, shining her light as an artist, clothing designer, jewelry maker, singer, dancer, academic scholar, animal lover and world traveler. In her final days we had many deep conversations and, with grace and wisdom, she said “Death is kind of beautiful. I know there is something out there for me.” She immediately started sending signs and her presence is known. I have also been on a cancer journey which led me to a spiritual awakening years ago, but little did I know it was preparing me for this. Equipped with spiritual truth and the HPH community, I know I am forever connected with my daughter and committed to helping others on this path.
We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. Pacific and the first Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time. Our first meeting will be on Nov 20th, 2024.
