So yesterday I got my boat out of storage and got it ready to go fishing. Come hang out with me while we go to the lake. I think the Tracker Pro 170 is a great budget bass boat for the everyday fisherman. What do you think?

    Just watched your video. Sorry about your lake pressure. I live down here in south central Florida. We have many lakes here and very little pressure. I have in my garage a Ranger RT178. It is a aluminum bass boat. It is a little bigger than that Tracker 170. I have owned 2 Tracker 175s. I liked them until I bought this Ranger. The aluminum is much heavier and the quality is great. It cost about $5000.00 more money but you get what you pay for. I don't regret it for one minute. The trailers are by the same company. The problem is they use southern yellow pine for the bunks. They rot so quick. I had my trailer redone. They replaced the bunks with pressure treated wood. Now I have a real trailer. I wish you the best in your fishing.

    Ive owned so many bikes and ridden almost every type. Bought a 2012 KLR to bring with us camping because its easy to get up in truck compared to a street bike. And it's not bad 2 up. Heavier springs different gearing are the only mods. It is a bike to do almost anything on just doesnt do anything well. But you can get them so cheap.

    I have a 2011 KLR 650 luv it! My only issue is I can't find any tires that will last me over 3,500 miles on the road. Ughh! If you have any suggestions for road tires I would appreciate it. Great vid. Thank you

    Does anyone know why my low beam light keeps burning out? I’ve had my Gen 2 for 18 months and the first bulb burned out as I rode it home from buying it used. When it burned out it also popped the fuse. Second bulb burned out on a long ride in Canada. The wires all look good.

      It’s a 2.5 car. It would easily fit in a 2 car, just at an angle. Helps to put the motor down and turn it to the side to get closer to the back wall

    Really nicely presented video on your EDC. As a retired Firefighter/EMT-I (That cert ID's my era. lol) I appreciated your calm, discreet presence. I use a couple of the Bando bags, with the strap extenders, depending on my surroundings.

    If you don’t have a closable garage to keep it in you will regret a tracker. They still for some reason, use wood in the flooring and casting decks. This will deteriorate quickly if not garage keept. There is a reason that trackers are budget boats, you will have to baby it to keep it in decent condition.

    Like the mindset behind your setup. I’m a primary school teacher in Amsterdam (the Netherlands, Europe) so can’t carry that specific tool due to law restrictions. So I tend to carry a Leatherman Wave +, a Victorinox Farmer Alox, a Leatheman Micra, a lighter, a booboo kit and a commemorative D-day coin. Alongside with my phone and wallet, ofcourse.

    I bought a 2024 for my first bike at 59years old and I absolutely love it. I did put some upgrades on it. I added progressive fork springs and an Eibach rear spring, I added crash bars all around and an aftermarket slip on. I am a big guy and this bike hauls me around no problem. Love this bike perfect for my experience level.

    I have a 2018 KLR in the same colors. They are great bikes, legendary MotoMules. But yeah, they aren't really in competition with the modern ADV bikes. Now they are a buy em cheap and ride em bike if you don't mind getting places a bit slower.

    I had hoped you were coming to Medina Lake, where I live. Our lake here is at less than 4% capacity! 😅 Not good boating or fishing, but I ride my KLR in the lake bottom. On Sunday the 27th, hit some sand and broke my collarbone😊. I plan on going to Big Bend TWT rally in February.

    I really like my 2015 KLR. I have a stock exhaust on mine and I think it's already kind of loud. I was riding on the freeway the other day and saw a police officer stopped roadside, maybe giving a ticket. As I was approaching his location going the other direction, I noticed he looked straight at me and watched me as I road by. It was at that point I thought that my bike might be louder than I thought. I"m new to riding, and I like how tall the bike is, and I also like how easy it is to work on. Thanks for the great KLR content!

    it sucks when the water drops, back in 2011-2012 I think when I lived in Midland, Tx, the San Angelo reservoir dried up to a 20 foot puddle during a drout. It was amazing how fast it filled up when the heavy rains came.

    I've owned three KLR650s, a 2013, 2017, and 2023. In total, I've ridden about 80,000 miles. Obviously, I must like them, but I'm not a speed junky. Be prepared to do a fair amount of maintenance, mostly electrical and carburetor, in addition to the usual oil and filter changes, tires, chains, and sprockets. But, my 10 to 20 hours of riding for every hour doing maintenance sure beats boats I've owned, where for every hour I spent fishing, boat maintenance took three hours. I'd guess, airplanes are even worse.

      @LoneStarMoto-v4q 2 місяці тому

      Thanks! Still learning how to edit but I'm getting better every time. I haven't had any carb related issues on my 2nd gen and it's a lot more simple than the fuel injected 3rd gen. If it were me I would try to find a newer, low mile 2nd gen and put some of the money you save into exhaust, wind protection and luggage. I think the 3rd gen looks a lot more modern though. You lose a tachometer and gain a fuel gauge on the 3rd gen along with fuel injection.

    I had a 2011 KLR a few years ago and my last bike was a 2013 KLR. I loved them. They were extremely easy to work on (I'm not a mechanic or anything either). They are a bit tall, so if you're short you 'll need to use lowering links (not recommended) or do something about the seat. The seat can be shaved down or there are "lower" seats available. They will go anywhere, they're like a jeep. The won't get you there fast, but you'll get anywhere. The only complaints I have about them is that the wind and big trucks on the highway blow you all over the road, and the brakes are not that great. I've got my old man Harley now, but I'd get another KLR if I wanted something to go adventure riding on the dirt.

      I have a 2008 2nd.Gen. l love it.I'm 6'2 is perfect for me. You have to put some mods on it. Metal foot pegs, front suspension stabilizer, doohickey.Mines came with a very comfortable saddleman seat. She works very well on highway 95MPH. Oil consumption over 5500-6000RPM. Forget Gen3 that is a junk.

      @@pbeardy well Maybe it's not the correct definition. But KLR is reliable and good for all things that she doesn't need.I think that the only important benefit gen 3 brings is the stator that generates more power for electronics mods.l don't like too much low quality Fuel pump fuel injection and ABS for this kind of bike. Just my opinion
