Three years on, and this is still the best introduction to Julia video in my opinion. It goes into just the right amount of detail, neither superficial nor getting lost in minutiae, flows well from one topic to another, and gives a balanced, reasonable perspective based on practical experience. Kudos.

Good morning! We're building an application to conduct patient phone surveys. The goal is to receive the patient list from Epic EHR (patient phone and some identifying number to tie the record to the patient; I suppose that could be the phone number itself). Once we have the list, we can use our system to make survey calls and collect responses. Then we have to deliver the survey back to epic EHR. Can you provide any guidance?

This is super helpful! The link for the code to fork was giving me a 404 though. Is that expected now? I know this was made a bit ago.

Could I build a similar app using FHIR, pulling data from Epic but built on salesforce platform?

The slide where he shows the assembly output of a function cut off the actual name of the function. You can catch it if you slo-mo the transition, but its @code_native. Also, to match the vectorization that julia does in C, you have to use both -O3 and -Ofast command line arguments to the compiler.
