The Holy Quran is the matchless Kalaam [Word] of that Lord عَزَّوَجَلَّ Who is the only Deity, the only Creator and the real Lord of the entire universe. He عَزَوَجَلَّ revealed this Kalaam [Holy Quran] to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّم . The blessed revelation began in the sacred month of Ramadan. Sayyiduna Jibraeel عَلَيْهِ السَّلام had the privilege of bringing the revelation to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّم . Some blessed ayahs were bestowed upon him directly. The dicine revelation was revealed in stages over a period of about 23 years in Arabic language, the most eloquent language, according to circumstances and occurrences.
