Performing Motherhood - Ülfet Performance
I'm from Spain. From menarche until perimenopause I was the size which was considered the first "woman's size" for most of the 20th century, anybody smaller was "girl's sizes". The reaction of most medical professionals upon laying eyes on me for the first time (between blood donations and sickness, I've seen doctors in half a dozen countries): "you need to lose weight". The reaction of the same people upon seeing my beautiful, gorgeous, everything Just So bloodwork, ECG, etc.: "uh, well, aaah, looks like you're doing well, so, uh, you really don't need to take any medication, ahm, maybe you could try to lose some weight but not really needed?" When I was 48 I got called to see my doctor as part of a campaign from the regional healthcare system. I was seen by the nurse first, who weighted me, measured not only my height but a bunch more things and yelled "another one!" to the doctor, who answered "no! Impossible!" I pointed out my hope that the desks would be sarcasm-resistant. The immense majority of female patients, all aged 48-50, were obese according to BMI and "you go, girl" according to things such as hip-waist ratio, fat distribution, etc. My relationship with my body would be a lot healthier if the last paragraph had gone at the beginning of my womanhood.
Cute wokie catechism at the opening.
Thanks for the forecast! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
You hate to say someone is your favorite poet because there are so many great ones out there. At the moment, I'm rocking to Fred Seidel (quite old now but refusing not to be relevant), Louise Gluck (RIP), Michael Robbins (who's showing us how it can be done post-post-modern), and Eva HD (although I'm not sure she should have moved from Toronto to Brooklyn -- Ben Lerner lives there. Ew.) However, I can't help it: Diane Seuss is my favorite poet. It took a while, but Modern Poetry convinced me, and now I'm living with her other volumes like new best friends with much more to tell me than I can possibly absorb. She is a virtuoso with the virtues also of hard-won wisdom and apparently native generosity of spirit. There's no one else like her that I can see.
So why do you ask us to register if don't respect the registration of the students? You gave the spots to whoever came and fore those who were wainting to plant a tree on friday you just cancel as nothing
Hi, we are sorry for the last-minute cancelation of those volunteer slots. Though we made a call-out to our community to participate, the project is being led and mainly carried out by Soverdi, and neither they, nor the Office of Sustainability, could have foreseen how ahead of schedule we ended up being. The whole project, however, is not over, and we hope to have more opportunities to engage in the near future. We will be more mindful in our process of recruiting volunteers, as we understand and value the power of community engagement in our sustainability initiatives.
A real life example of... "Have you seen a man skillful at his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before common men." - Proverbs 22:29 Great presentation! This is exactly how I build and run my businesses. Stay humble and work hard 💪🏽
"Dr. Friederike Otto runs World Weather Attribution (WWA) out of Imperial College London and is a frequent presence on the BBC. WWA is behind many of the immediate attributions of bad weather to human causes and its motives are clear. As Dr. Otto has noted: “Unlike every other branch of climate science or science in general, event attribution was actually originally suggested with the courts in mind.” Otto is clear that the main function of such studies, part-funded by Net Zero-supporting billionaires and heavily pushed by aligned mainstream media, is to support lawsuits against fossil fuel companies. She explains this strategy in detail in the interview, " from Chris Morison on The Daily Sceptic.
That is awesome!
That’s so cool!
so who funds this?
Probably their university? It’s literally in the account name. Concordia University.
@@Alex-ni1gn wow...
Nice one
Bravo! Love your courage ❤💪🏽
How can i get scholarships from concordia university
And I want to know more briefly about the competition you talked about. Thank you
How can I get scholarship from concordia university??
getting rid of aramark prison food would be nice
Fantastic presentations! Brava!!
Dr. McLarnon was my teacher once. He is an amazing professor.
I've been visiting Gaspésie for 7 years as I do my graduate research. Watching the woodland caribou there decline from 80 individuals in 2017 to around 40 this year has been so devastating. We need to do better forest management. Variable retention method is a good way forward!
LMAO MARIAAAA
Where did those yeast come from? A tomato? AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Good talk , another perspective to see ‘ Art and Science ‘ nowadays 👍🙏

It was a great talk. A lot of information and a differente approach to social equity. Thank you for the opportunity to have this experience.

Losers. Mpls holds its own anyway!
Bravo aux jeunes de C-Vert pour leur fabuleuse prise de parole!
Super!
Soon, we won’t need actors, or cameramen, or wardrobe departments or set builders, or stunt doubles, or anything at all, really, except a computer and an idea.
Why are artists complaining.... If ur art it top notch, u have nothing to cry about!!!!
Because making an AI that cleans isn't profitable
You are still the creator. You choose what to create. AI is a tool and you can learn how to use it. You can also ignore it. You can still write poetry, you can still paint. You lost nothing.
Farmers also "didn't sign up" for tractors to exist, but here we are. Imagine being so against the idea of a "tractor".
Just be creative
Some people aren't interested in doing art as a hobby that noone will ever see or need anymore. Some people make art to express themselves and their feelings. Something that isn't shared is not expression, its just a record.
With everything that's happening in your country and around the world, this is your question?? Seriously? Wow, first world problems. All art is subjective, you don't need to like AI generated art. You should be asking how AI can be used to solve the pending climate apocalypse.
AI is at its infancy... And it's learning.... Like a kid, it begins with figuring out images and creating its own litle drawings... It will answer our questions, but we need to let it grow up...
It's not creating it's own drawings, it's taking all our drawings and smushing them together, editing and vomiting it out.
@@vanessarheadart9708 You are the creator. People forget that. You choose what you want to be created. It is a tool, like a brush.
gad....just think what she'll look like when she loses her looks...........ha ha ha ha
Tech takes my job it’s called progress… tech takes artist’s job it’s called a tragedy?
Both are tragedies. More than one person can have a bad thing happen to them
because you dont need to pay millions for a random splash of paint
In the not to distant future, when an artist creates anything, they will have a burden of proof….to prove there was no AI involvement. AI will have created every possible combination of all possible forms of expression, so every new art piece by a human will be considered to have been created by or stolen from AI, unless the artist can prove otherwise. We are almost there now.
I didn't sign up to be in this world. 😂 it just kinda happened. Make the most of it and stop complaining about everything.
I need to more of that.
So just clean toilets, shut down your mind, stop thinking and shut up? Glad you're on the side of the machines
because they dont pay a.i. creation rights the companys save billions a year and of course it screws all artist
I stg fouth space could book metric and this channel would still get no views
Have you thought about making a second channel on youtube, I think a lot of people would watch you
Dr Blair’s writing a graduate thesis or dissertation is the most valuable resource for those who want to pursue any kind of research. Thank you very much for this seminal work .
