I have the M1 generation. I like how quiet it is. It no longer sounds like a jet engine when doing simple tasks like my old computer did. Even heavier tasks won't spool up the fans much either. It is great.

Have you tried davinci resolve or Final Cut Pro before? They're alternatives for premere pro which are a one time purchase instead of subscription. They both run better as well! I personally use final cut pro whenever I edit a video

Since this is a custom build, as in Apple doesn’t have these specs readymade at the apple store, if you don’t mind me asking, how long did it take for your computer to arrive to your doorstep from the time you ordered it?

The white power brick is actually white to get less hot. Think about it - black things heat up much quicker and this thing HEATS UP a lot when charging.

Nice overview from a fellow Canadian, and you’re so pretty! 😊 I’ve been going in circles about 14” vs 16” (coming from a 2019 16”). But 100% spot on for getting the 48GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Please make a follow-up on your experience with the nano screen. I visited the Apple Store numerous times to check it out and found it made the screen a little tinted when viewing white backgrounds and I felt small text was not as sharp. Enjoy your new computer!
