It only negates a cards effect. Sabo applies a status to the whole field which is completely different. It’s like green’s freeze effects from doffy/carrot. It’s not giving characters a new effect and acts more like a debuff where it’s a buff in sabo’s case.

@@TacticalDimplesyep.. but it should negates sabo effect for the turn right? plus the bb player have laboon on field which makes sabo cost to 1 which is popable with liberation? but yea.. im still confuse.. haha

@@TacticalDimplesbut that applies as an on play effect, teach prevents on plays activation, first it applies protection then after that you draw, its all an on play eff

Yeah, coming of the Pokemon TCG, Blackholes effect should be stronger whatever is written on the other card. But let’s assume they were correct in that regard 👍🏻

I believe it's an additional effect added to the card. Kinda like how when you add blocker, you are adding the blocker effect

My take was, that you are giving your opponent more cards in hand, while attacking with your leader your are either banishing life cards or cards in Hand, which is would preferred generally

@mro__gaming1841 Yeah, that would normally be the correct play I think, but when trying to go for game it might be better to test the waters first without commiting any don to see if you even can go for game. If not, you still have don to go on defense and try to survive another turn
