@@johnoliveira8975 It will erode sand and gravel out from under the ramp, causing it to break off eventually. Not only that it’s usually a hefty fine if you get caught.

lack of maintenance. People buy machines and wonder why bad things happen. LOOK AT IT once in a while.

@@MrMotor11 People just ride the Sh**t out of them, until something fails. I check mine out before I go out on the water. I look for fuel leaks, or excessive water in the hull that maybe from a leak from the last ride.

I know there have been several explosions where people have added an additional fuel tank in the engine compartment that use the OE tanks breather as a suction tube to make it auto siphon where they didn't properly vent the aux tank to the outside of the ski causing vapor buildup in the engine compartment which then ignited. I don't know if this is what you are talking about or if you just mean catastrophic engine failure which can be cause by manufacturing defects of poor maintenance.
