Great old song from his time on Mars.
Love it
I really gotta get in his audience. I'm enjoying all the entertainment coming from Steve P.! So glad I discovered this guy!
He did this when he made CD's live for all of us. I looked across the room to see one of the guys making 'large' gestures as we were all singing along. Always a great time when Steve came to town.😊
For the first time, I looked this song up and I realized... in several years down the line when this dear old fellow who inspired so much imagination in my childhood as a Paul Verhoeven villain, when he passes on, I will be solemn, I will bring a schnapps, and I will watch this video fully through in deep concentration with a heart full of love. For now, RIP Ronny Cox's wife. God bless.
LOL! Great song. I can totally relate. ❤🎶
This man is the real deal!
It's dick Jones, dick Jones
Two great surprises, an actor I've always revered is still with us and he is a gifted musician.
Back again this year and this is a fine piece of music. Three times I played this at work and each time someone commented on its beauty. I play tons of music and that just doesn't happen usually!
Fairplay
I like....good show, Ronnie!
Sounds like Ronny is a natural born Folk Singer. Thank you for sharing this Mr. Ronny. And kudos to your fellow band members - excellent performance through and through 😁🤩.
He's had a dream life. A successful actor and musician. Not many people can pull that off but here he is doing it. Rock on Ronnie.
So has Clint Eastwood.
LOL so true!
I love the fact that one of the best and greatest performances of all time is still unknown and I do enjoy this alone
Hi, I want to make a video where Dick Jones says "Hello, buddy boy. Dick Jones here. I guess you're on your knees right about now, begging for your life. Pathetic. You don't feel so cocky now, do ya, Bob? You know what the tragedy is here, Bob? We could have been friends... but you had to call me a 'pansy'. That hurt. But life goes on, it's an old story, the fight for love and glory, huh, Bob? It helps if you think of it as a game, Bob. Every game has a winner and a loser. I'm cashing you out, Bob." I find it hilarious how in the edited version of RoboCop, Dick gets angry at Bob Morton for calling him a pansy. Do I have permission to clone your voice?
Love this song!!!
Loved it!
Absolutely worth seeing a live concert. We saw him years ago when he opened for Jewel at the Moore Theater, told a tale 😃 stole the show. Perhaps true but so entertaining and involved an event w/her!!! U are mistaken if he's not the most genuine, comical and thought provoking musicians in your time👍
I saw him 2 nights ago (Nashville - he's a local now that he's left San Diego). Yes, he is currently the most genuine, comical musician out there, imo. He did a great John Prine cover (which I posted on UA-cam) and his rambling intro was very Prine-like. I would say both of them were entirely genuine and naturally humorous guys, but John (also a Nashvillian) died of Covid so I guess that leaves us Steve. I can't wait to see him again. He has never disappointed when I've seen him in concert.
You are the best Steve, this song is too funny, love it. 👏🌹👏🌹👏🌹👏
This man brings me to tears.
Lyrics.....''I killed Bob Morten because I made a mistake, now it's time to erase that mistake'', repeat to fade.
Professional moocher who happens to play the guitar. As long as your paying all Steve’s expenses and giving him freebies - he will act like your best friend.
Well! I am backy again and I am ANGRY that I can't upvote this one more time.
Somebody should intercut this video with shots of him spazzing out as he dies on Mars's surface.
You sing this song so well, voice light to the mic. Look for the spark that likes the video with my thumbs up saying 'hi!'
This guy killed Kinny!!
Bogomil
I want it to be funny but it is so white-privileg-y hey...love the guy. Don't love the schtick...
Ronny Cox is so fuckin cool
100%, the forever dude of many good and evil charismatic attributes that we've seen in his films.
Wow, he’s good! Loved him in TAPS, total recall and Beverly Hills cop.
The original is by Jimmy MacCarthy, but made famous by Christy Moore. It's one of my favourite Irish folk songs. Ronny is a man of many talents!
I'm in love with both performances of Christy and Ronny
Your a cool dude, Ronny
Beautiful David.........R.I.P.
legit
Bella sincera ottima voce
R.I.P.
I can’t translate:; I only can see this villain playing fuco on the big screen
Senator Kinsey, VIlos Cohaagen and Dick Jones were assholes but Ronny Cox is wonderful.
But Edward Jellico is legendary.
This is real
Beautiful
Lovely song.
beautiful. love her.
Красивая песня,но в такой интерпритации слышу впервые)
Grewat stuff lads
Is it Irish accent?
Do you still book artists for this series? Thank you, -Jimi Revolver myacousticheart.com
...that's the bad guy from "Robocop" and "Total Recall," Bogomil from "Beverly Hills Cop" and Captain Edward Jellico from Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was also one of the four Atlanta businessmen who get caught up in nothing good floating down a Georgian river in "Deliverance." The other three were played by Jon Voight, Ned Beatty and Burt Reynolds. Ronny Cox is just great and this video of his music is just as clever and entertaining as anything else he's done.
Amazing live show. Saw him in Dallas. Could make Bill Belichick smile.
what a piece of work
