The day I found out the sequel was cancelled was the day I stopped caring about Disney and everything they did. Maybe some day a brave developer (probably an indie) will pick up the pieces and create something amazing. The elite race theme is still on my phone and I listen to it often. Still gives me chills. This game had its flaws, but, like BLUR, it remained an absolute blast to play.

Honestly this is what made me fell in love with this game, the utter destruction of objects at its time is absolutely nuts!

Split second was the best racing game ever made. Theres no question to it. It wasnt just the Cars, it was everything about the game. It was made to be a fun video game, but till this day i can only rely on split second to give me the true rush of Death Racing like we saw in the movies growing up. NOTHING comes close. I could sit here and explain every little detail i loved, but truthfully theres to much, the game was 99.3% perfection
