I keep getting weird issues such as autopilot disconnect and auto throttle not activating on the Fenix in MSFS24. Any thoughts?

@@flyguy7287 I've had the autopilot problem a few times. Every time I've had to make a little rudder input and then I am able to reconnect the autopilot for the rest of the flight. As for the autothrust I haven't had the problem and I don't know how it can be fixed.

Thanks for the reply. Probably some kinda control conflict. I’ll keep plugging away. That’s the worst thing about this new sim. Control settings in 2020 were so much better! I hope they get that sorted

@belegestel_ thanks. Unfortunately I can't have idle reverse with my hardware.

I believe idle reverse is more of a recommendation if performance allows it but it’s never a rule to the airline. Airports often also try to suggest idle reverse for noise abatement but again, down to performance and pilots discretion. But yes it’s a good point to the cool down, must depend on the arrival airport but, like I’m sure Kerry would be much better off with shorter cooldown times as opposed to like Stansted or Dublin where they’re prone to longer taxi tiems

@belegestel_ I believe it is standard practice to use full reverse at Ryanair to reduce brake cooling times (25 minute turnarounds at RYR). The last flight of the day is usually with idle reverse to help the engines.

@@Minimuns unfortunately I don't know what could be causing that. I didn't have that problem with either stable or development branch.

@ hows the fbw a380 in the new sim any bugs and did you install stable version or development version of the fbw a380 and didi you install it from the fbw installer or just copy and paste from 2020 to 2024 community folder

@@bravo77whiskey If I may ask, how did you get the AI traffic injection to work in BATC. I have the supporter edition and still don't see any traffic in FS2024 despite having it enabled.

@@F.A.S.D I try to avoid recommending products but I would buy the A319. I think it's a much better product. I don't know how the real planes work therefore I can't tell you if anything is study level.

Your knowledge and recommendations weigh so much on my decision whether to buy an add ons or not because i want to be sure that I spent my fund wisely and on the very best budget products there is. @@320_Crew thanks. I don't have any scenery for KPIA and I can only fly the A320 family. A day ago the sim received an update that has broken it for me resulting in crashing when I try to open it.

@@srbaiacu4140 it has but it's very little. I thought it didn't have any wingflex but I tested using my finger on my monitor and saw there was a bit of it.
