Trophyline Hyperlite Alternative Attachment Methods
Переглядів 5515 місяців тому
Now that the @Trophyline Hyperlite Sticks are out, I was to answer some of the questions about other attachment methods that's been brought up a few times. This is the way I use the cam strap and daisy chain on the sticks. The guys over at Trophyline may do it differently, so I just want to put that out there. Thanks for watching! Tagged Out On Public In Florida???
Переглядів 1017 місяців тому
Doug watched a bird fly up the day before but had to walk past it to get back to the truck so he wasn't sure if the bird was still in the tree the next morning. Did taking the time to try and roost a bird pay off??

It took a few hours for Doug to get on this bird but with a little luck on his side he managed to find him after he left with his hen.

A last minute call put Doug and Jamie on a Special Opportunity Area hunt. They were on the list as alternates, and got the call on Tuesday for a Fri-Mon hunt. They had missed the scout days and had to go in blind the first morning but managed to get on some deer.

Told yall brother when yall were at American Hunter, Xpedition’s are great. I shoot a 2020 Xscape & 2022 Smoke. Got Ronnie on the Xpedition train. He owns one now and sells them.
@ShaneBolerHunting yeah Ronnie called me after we posted the teaser and said "That's an Xpedition bow ain't it? The sales rep is coming to see me tomorrow"
lol., I’ve always loved Xpedition. I haven’t been crazy about the Xlite’s, probably cause I can’t afford it. The 31 is my favorite out of them. Although I did like the 35. I haven’t shot the new 32.
@@ShaneBolerHunting I want to say Ronnie has the 32 now or has ordered one. I love the 31 and the way it shoots. Hands down one of, if not the best shooting bow I've shot
I just came across one never shot for $800.00. I thought it was too good to be true, but its on it's way. Deal of a lifetime?
Why didn't they just do a versa button system? Much better and can do daisy chain
@@craigholland2274 you can still use a daisychain. There is another video on here showing you how to do it or use a sinch strap.
how are you stowing the ropes now that the tag line isn't usable for stowing?
Could do the same thing on the back side i suppose. Might even try without foing thru the loop, one above and one below....
Thank you for this - I was about ready to sell my set, like the stick - hate the attachment method. Decided to see if anyone had come up with another solution and here you are. I've tested on the trees out back and found this to be more user friendly than oem suggested way. Only caveat I will point out for people to keep an eye on is the edges are "sharp" where we pass the prusik thru. Check those contact points periodically for wearing on the Amsteel. One other thing to mention that's not in the video. for storage I am leaving the prusik side hooked up as he is in the video, I am pulling the tag end all the way thru, flipping the loos loop over one of the step ends. Then you are able to wrap and secure very similar to OEM recommendations.
It seems that any attachment method used there is play with the bottom stick. My buddy got a set and whatever method we used we couldn’t get the bottom part of the stick to sit. Thoughts on this?
Hey are you guys local to the Florida panhandle? If so I saw one of y’all’s tacomas I was in the 3rd gen taco
YEP that's me (Jamie), we all live here in NWFL. Can't beat those Tacomas
@@aironalvarez yes we are. That would have been Jamie.
Or they could have just supplied it with a cheap ass prussik tender. No excuses. this attachment method is junk how they provided it.
Any ideas on a tie method?
Do you mean by using a rope mod?
@@southernpublicpodcast7936 yes
@@southernpublicpodcast7936 Yes. Got the hyperlites for this season. Have always used a rope mod on other sticks. Nothing wrong with their attachment method, just curious if you had any ideas on utilizing a rope mod with the hyperlites?
@Napier4547 I haven't tried a rope mod. Not sure how well it would work because there's really not a good pinch point for the rope to bite. I'll have to play around with it them and see.
What's the distance between the back of the standoff where it his the tree to the front of the step (foot length is what I'm asking) I thought i heard in another podcast it's less than the old stick
What is the weight of a four pack?
@@landonmurph9501 4.5 lbs
