I think the rules for Spl should be measured at 40 HZ or so. This is not the bass you want in music. Its nearly feedback tone.
That’s why it’s different classes for everything this is experimental not daily bass
@@Mr.ChoKolate4life Nah, these 60 70hz pulls ruins the db comp. Its not bass, its trash. I could see a 6.5 pulling a 150 plus at 35 to 45 hz. with 3 or 4 in the right box.

I think you hitting more than 146 . I hit a 145 with my dd 9510L at 33 hertz . I have a 8k amp at 2ohm with stock alternator. My woofers are still pretty stiff.

Everyone is overthinking this one. It a transmission line with a sealed cap and the mic placed at the end. to call this port wars is kind of lame because its not in the spirit of the rule. Does it work? Sure. Is it genius? Debatable, but its a good idea none the less.

I wish I would hit a 150db but I’ve been struggling with voltage and my js alternator died at my first competition so I’ve been running a stock one. I’m having a hard time warranting it
My highest db so far is a 147.89
@@alexanderhardy8201 yeah if you get a very nice custom subwoofer box tuned around 34hz I'm guessing you should hit a 150db without getting a better alternator. I once had a prefab subwoofer box with 2 18" subwoofers and it metered a 147.8db now I bought a Custom Audio by JD subwoofer box and I now meter a 151.2db.
