Given that bollywood and hollywood contain immense power, in terms of it's reach, appeal and allure. A large part of the narratives to be found inside these two industries is about predictable fantasy - no-brain unreality and the abject celebration of mediocrity and patriarchy. As for the "Power Of Sound" - the same can be said about Pop music or in other words, any fabrication of the dominant culture. Willy nilly, the sound of Bollywood is always a copy or let's say appropriation of what is cool in the west.
