Does God of the Bible Condone Slavery
Переглядів 1345 місяців тому
Looking at the history of human beings demonstrates that the moral capacity of humans can sense the lack of compassion of owning another human being as property. Mankind can go beyond belief and do greater miracles than God himself by doing something he did not instruct his followers to do, which is condemning slavery. The God of the Christian Bible instructs how to own someone as property and ...

      He has used it plenty of times. In real time. Live action. No broken hand. If you don't know what you're watching I can tell you. It's a blind young man practicing a way to deflect an attack and respond with a corksrcew hook to the jaw and a follow up. These tools may be unfamiliar to you but they aren't to him. Why not give this young man support instead of attempting to critique something you have no full knowledge of

      He is training. Going through the motions Jerry. In order to master a technique, you practice it over and over. Bruce Lee said "I fear not the man that has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but the man that has practiced one kick 10,000 times".

    This is a very poor demonstration. I assume that this was a Bong Sau then a Lap Sau. The first punch lacked structure. It wasn't a vertical Wing Chun Punch not any known punch, and where was the target? What was he hitting? Then, the second left hit, what was he targeting, the shoulder? Also, what is this JKD stance? Why is his head facing forward? He should contract his abs and lean towards the back and put weight on that back leg. edit: I didn't realise that he was blind. But if he is blind, he shouldn't break the bridge. Once he grabs the arm, he should lose it.

    • @shuamun8398
      @shuamun8398 3 місяці тому

      Yes he is BLIND. What you have shown is poor observation. The first punch is not a Wing Chun punch. It is a corksrcew hook to the jaw. The second was a ridge hand/forearm strike targeting the nose, mouth, neck/throat which would depend on the position of the head after the first strike. The title says "Blinded Fist." If you are a practitioner of the art, "To see is to be deceived." I would think you would understand that and the remainder of that quote. The stance is NOT meant for you because that individual is more important than any style or system you name. This young man has the courage to even show he is capable of doing it and not talking about it behind a keyboard. Honestly, this is also a lack of respect for him and even yourself because you assumed a position instead of knowing the full context of his personal growth and being brave enough to show where he is vulnerable. If you are a practitioner and have any real length of experience then you should know better and should have more class than what you just displayed in this message. If you feel you can do better then show and prove it on your own or our door is open if you want to test it. Otherwise, peace be with you and walk on.

      @@shuamun8398 JKD and Wing Chun is one of the better arts for blind people thanks to the sense of touch. However, in his combination, he breaks the bridge. Once he loses the bridge, he is completely blind. He should always have at least one connection to the opponent to know what he is dealing with and know where to attack. He should still bend back a little further in his stance because if he is blind, he won't be able to react to incoming punches. But if his head was further back with his arms further out, we has a chance to make contact with the opponent before being hit. That corkscrew punch is good, however as a blind person, it would be hard for him to accurately hit his opponent, a backfist after the Lap Sau would have greater chance of hitting. The Bong Sau is a very good defensive move as it can parry straights to the body and the face. In Wing Chun, there is also a drill where you are blindfolded and the technique is to never break the bridge. Once you break the bridge, you are in complete darkness.

    • @shuamun8398
      @shuamun8398 3 місяці тому

      @hellohennessy3462 now we're talking. When you say break the bridge, you are referring to sticking correct? Riding/rolling the Bong on/over the trapped limb correct? I am aware of sticking. But also hitting which is most important. Yes, in comparison you could say this is one with a little more risk. However, if you noticed he did Lap the limb right? And kept contact while doing so right? When he did that and leaked his attack, he also changed his angle to execute the corkscrew. I won't argue with your position in Wing Chun and especially being able to see. But you keep saying "if he is blind", when the young man is blind. Your position comes from being able to see. He has never seen anything. That is not the same as being blind folded. Not at all. I understand what you are saying about the stance; however, from what you're saying again it is in favor of Wing Chun and having been able to see even if it was a blindfolded drill. A drill is a drill. To have your head back, with all the weight on the rear leg is a bad position even for a sighted person but worst for a blind person. What if there is no contact because of a hook to the head or body? What if they throw combinations in their attack with those hooks in mind? Wouldn't doing that expose the chin more to be knocked out? Jkd is about hitting not trapping. Even with a trap the focus is to hit. With his stance his chin being down provides protection being supported by his shoulder and his guard. With his hands and feet he's provided more mobility and relaxation which is key to execute techniques with speed and power also providing proper bod alignment and less fatigue. He can slip, bob and weave, snap back, etc and if hit by not being on his back leg he wouldn't lose balance as his rear heel is cocked for mobility and provides springiness in his rear leg to explode off the back leg, be able to absorb a blow and recover quickly to counter. In conclusion your way is not my way. His way is not our way. He is learning and discovering himself and what works for him. There is no limitation for an individual to express themselves to the maximum. I still think your approach was harsh initially but in this message I do appreciate having this dialogue.
