Comment ne pas faire l'éloge de cet album attendu depuis trop longtemps ? Avec "Down To The Station" Kagowo nous montre encore une fois qu'il sait jouer avec les styles . Cette fois de manière plus subtile , plus consciencieuse que dans ses anciens singles . L'artiste s'affirme , plus minutieux , plus méticuleux , et vient changer les codes de la Drum N Bass en jonglant avec l'ancienne et la nouvelle école. Un album par un passionné, pour les passionnés. Le mélomane nous propose un album versatile , éclectique , divers et underground . Sujet de toute les ambivalences : tantôt mélodieux , tantôt brusque , parfois propice à la rêverie ou au cauchemar, lent ou rapide ; "Down to the Station" est le témoin des nombreuses influences musicales de Kagowo et son désir d'eclectisme et de versatilité. Quelque part entre Intelligent drum n bass , Breakcore , Glitch Hop , Synth , Acid , Ambient, Dreamwave , Jungle et Dub , l'album se veut audacieux sans être trop gourmand. Toujours équilibré et empreint de parcimonie. Quelques passages de "Riot for Zb5" rappellent des albums puissants de"Tangerine Dream" tels que "Ricochet" ou "Firestarter". Kagowo vient s'illustrer comme l'un des membres de la relève d'un genre qui manque de sang neuf ! Une véritable Masterclass ! Un album à écouter sans modération !
