I would of knocked the chair umpires stand to the ground their even forfieting my match in the day. Pisses me off. Robert at 69 who played Mac in '79 at the Los Angeles Tennis club in the quarters where I was fortunate to win 1 set off him. He went on to the finals where his doubles partner Peter Fleming beat him in the finals. Mac never 'dissed' me or contested a won my point, and I am greatful, he tells it like it is.

I was lucky enough to watch those matches on TV. I learned to play tennis and love the sport because of Bjorn Borg. I modeled my game after him though I could not afford "his" Donnay racquet, I owned a Bancroft and played with it several years. My personality was similar to his in that I kept my cool and worked very hard on fundamentals. It is why I play the sport today with so much confidence and at age 64 I still beat players 30 years younger. But I must admit I enjoy doubles more because it deos not take me so long to recover )) Haha. Yes, thanks to UA-cam and all the great people that assemble these video clips! And Borg is by far the greatest when you consider the technology, training, and grueling tournament to match schedules. His winning percentages tell the story!
