Can't be a doctor. Our doctors, at our hospital just stare at a computer screen for 5-6 hours at a clip. Leave you in a cubicle then show up to tell you that another doctor will be seeing you. Nice work if you can get it.

I met Dr Bowers while admitted or in observation while I was a patient in Tampa General hospital. I came into TG, May of this year because I was suffering horrid symptoms. i passed some type of surgical material while using the bathroom in another hospital. I came to Tampa General for help. I was told by Dr. Bowers I swallowed this material that came out of my body. I insisted this is not true. This Dr walked out leaving me with these accusations and I was forced to discharge this hospital. My health wasn’t improving at home. I laid on my couch for months at home hopeful nothing else bad would happen to me. I had no where to go for answers at the time. I passed more sutures in June. Which is why I felt so bad while I was in Tampa and being seen in the hospital. It’s been confirmed now that what came out of my body was in fact nylon surgical sutures. I’d think Dr. Bowers would recognize this material. Instead of blaming me for swallowing it. Dr. Bowers was very rude to me. My daughter stood up and spoke up for me. Nothing we did or said was making me get the medical attention I needed. Accusing me of swallowing a material that jeopardized my health for over 4 years. Really damaged me emotionally. I brought in all of my medical records to back up what I was saying. My records were ignored and I was blamed. This has been my personal experience with this physician.

I had this done in November 29, 2020, and found out I have cardiomyopathy and heart palpitations with Ejection of 39, and for sure I have a lot of tests to be done. And wasn't too bad.

Respectfully, my life was completely ruined after I came out of your two routine surgical procedures. When came out of anesthesia screaming in pain, you should have known your hernia repair failed. I’m going to share my story soon. The symptoms you left me to suffer were horrendous. I could have died. Sutures finally worked their way out of my body back in April. I have videos and photos of everything. Now my symptoms have settled. You should have opened me back up, & found what was making me so sick. I’m blessed to have made it through this nightmare, alive.

Please be aware of Advents excessive billing practice. Last December I was advised I needed a high resolution anoscope due to liaisons discovered in my anus found by general practitioner. Dr. Nguyen did the surgical procedure under anesthesia and at the hospital most of which was covered by insurance. She reported liaisons were removed biopsy no cancer found probably just due to HPV virus. I was told to follow up with her in a 6months. Last month I called to schedule follow up and asked how much the appointment would cost as Advent was higher than other doctors I had called. I was told they could not tell me until after they went through my insurance. The initial consult with Advent was 50$. I met with Dr. Ngyun for 30 minutes. She examined my anus. Told me I needed another surgery as there were more small liaisons. I told her my general practitioner goes to a surgeon in St Pete who burns off the lesions in office without the need for surgery. I declined her recommendation. Two weeks later I get a bill for 620.00 $ for her 30-minute examination. When I called twice to contest the excessive amount, I was told they billed for the office visit and procedure. I never authorized a procedure they also said she took specimens. Never at any time did she tell me she took specimens. Nor did I consent to an expensive procedure. Again, the follow up appointment took only 30 minutes. I was told I approved any procedures when I signed in for my appointment. I should have read the fine print. Now I will have to file complaints with medical board and better business bureau. And see if the new federal law against unexpected excessive billing applies to this case. Also, I will be appealing to Advent corporate. Robert Ollen

I have an SVT ablation scheduled for next Tuesday with Dr. Gerczuk, I went in today for pre-op and I'll tell you. This is the most incredible hospital I have ever been to. The facilities are impressive, and the care that I have received in pre-op is even more impressive. They listen to you, every question that I had was quickly answered with confidence. These professionals are doing truly amazing work. God bless 😁
