So I cannot dice carrots with the dice disc? Basically I’d like to get this for that purpose. Can I dice beets or Jicama, turkey jam? What do you think? How about slicing frozen salami?
Why do you think you can’t dice carrots in it? Of course you can! She just said that she personally prefers the chop of the S blade over the dicing for her carrots is all. You can dice beets and jicama too! I don’t know what “turkey jam” is though lol. And idk about dicing salami - I’m a vegetarian and don’t eat meat, so I’ve never put meat in my machine.
@@one-eyepadidally8449she said the grid disc doesn’t do as good as the S blade. What would be the purpose of spending so much more money on a disc that doesn’t do what I want and end up using the S blade instead when I can just get the S blade from the beginning without spending more money? I don’t want my carrots uneven or chopped. I don’t like mushy chopped carrots. 😂 I want them diced. That’s totally different than chopped. That would be the only purpose of getting the dicing disc. BTW, I meant turkey ham lol. Sorry. Typo. 😂 Thanks for replying.
@@Golds-worthy I am sure that you can dice carrots in it just fine… I would look around at the plethora of videos that test the Breville peel and dice, as I am SURE there have been people that have tested the dicing kit with carrots. Especially with mirepoix being such a common base to recipes.
i think your baby can clean the chopping blade that what ur baby is saying
Hi, have you used this for dough ? How is the smell of the containers after using several foods with distinct smells ? Thanks
No smell, just be careful with metal spoons or other metal objects in the bowl as they might scratch the plastic surface inside the bowl (possibly causing bacteria to reside in between the scratches). I always use silicone or plastic utensils when emptying the bowl
Very smart. It would never occur to me to do a big amount of processing to freeze for the forth coming week. It's a great solution to having a glut of food such as apples that need to be sliced for freezing.
What is the model?
Hi if you bought the extra dicing kit shouldnt you use the 8mm grid for smaller dices? Great video. Please post what you use the additional kit for because it is expensive and wondering if i need it. thanks.
I bought the additional dicing kit. You can use for whatever you want except for sweet potatoes or yams. I used mine for dicing onions and mushrooms.
can someone link the souper cubes? i cant find them on amazon
Hi , did you get the 16 plus pro model and additionally purchased the dicing kit ? I recently purchased a pro , and wondering If the dicing kit can be used in this model too ?
5:17 I think you're supposed to attach that to the bottom of the pusher......might make it a bit easier for you.
Those silicon tray are the best kitchen invention in history of mankind🤣 and thanks to HOME SENCE I have all sizes in reasonably price tags.
Super helpful
There isn’t any review on UA-cam that shows how the food is inserted. Too close up!
Go on breville. ca or . com for Canada l or U. S, you can buy the replacement bowl and other parts. Right now feb. 2021 it's free shipping on all orders
Her voice sounds like beyonce ,anyone ?
Just a helpful tip, you are supposed to put the pusher attachment on the bottom of the shoot pusher so you have better leverage when pushing the veggies through the top :)
These onions would be great for French onion soup
Instablaster.

Hi ! You can combine your big pusher with the dicing pusher.
I'm also planning to buy the breville food processor but after reading a few of the reviews in Amazon, i think twice. It's because a number of customers have the same bad comment about the bowl breaking and they need to wait around 6 months fir thw replacement. The review was bet 2016 - 2018. We're 2020 now hope the company look on this issue ang solve the breaking if the bowl problem after just a few months of using.
Yes, Breville, the company, has been very busy during the pandemic that has put a strain on completing replacement orders. Also, I have gotten the fastest response from them by sending them a private message using Twitter. If you put the detailed product information within your message, they will send you a direct quote if the item is in stock because the site doesn't get updated as fast as their internal inventory system. Anyways, they appear to be getting back to normal because I recently received 2 separate orders (i.e. April and June) within 5 business days. Thus, your mileage may vary depending on your distance from their shipping warehouse. BTW, I recently purchased the Breville Sous Chef® 16 Peel & Dice and it's working out very well.
Suggest you never bother with negative comments (especially in Amazon) too much - often they are have a victim mentality unhappy with every aspect of their own lives. Do several reviews of users showing the machine in action. I bought one and I have NEVER looked back. Rinsing is easy after using it and you can always order an extra bowl to have on hand as insurance.
Hi! May i know where did you buy your silicone tray? Please give the link? Thank you! 😍
Hi friend...you can just search on Google or Amazon ypu will find it..the names of item is " Webake Silicone Soup Containers" i hope it helps you to find it
