What would've been more helpful is if Yarra would've pulled the other switch. Just like in the mission with Alva, when both Alva and Aloy worked together in The Greenhouse. To be completely honest out of all the met characters in the game Alva was the most helpful and useful. At least she she knew you needed an extra hand and she was willing to help with puzzles.

That area where he jumps out in between you can actually sit right after the three frogs and use Margaret shackle and it will actually destroy those chariots and give you the armor
