    Hey! I have the profitec go rn with a df64 and I have brewed perfect rations and made great shots, but for some reason I don’t get the cafe quality espresso that I want which has more flavors, did u have a machine before the mini? I’ve been wanting to upgrade to it and wonder if it will give me that extra quality taste I need!

    Thank you for this video, it is very helpful... I have changed my flow restrictions to 0.6mm , and my shots are much better. Now I’m considering lowering dn the pump pressure to 6 bar, could you tell me how that is done? I have googled online, but still very confused as to which parts of the machine to adjust....

    • @mjpaesan
      @mjpaesan 2 роки тому

      Hi - I’m so glad the video is helpful. I no longer have my Linea Mini, but the process for reducing pump pressure requires that you remove the top plate (if I recall correctly there are 8 screws). Once removed, you can look in the right rear of the machine to find the pump adjustment screw. If you look down from above the machine in the right rear, the screw is very close to the back wall. You can use a long flat head screwdriver to adjust the pressure. Turning counter-clockwise will reduce pressure. Clockwise will increase. One tip: You will want to make your final adjustment an increase in pressure (do not make your final adjustment a reduction in pressure). That means if you want to reduce pressure, start by adjusting it to a point below your desired pressure, and then adjust upward until you get it where you want it. Lastly, the support at LaMarzocco is outstanding. They will gladly talk you through it if needed. Good luck!

    • @Takochan29
      @Takochan29 2 роки тому

      @@mjpaesan thank you so much for replying 😊. So all this is done while the machine is on and I make the screw adjustment until the brew pressure meter is at the 6 bar mark? ( so lower it to under 6 bar first, then make the final adjustment to 6?) . Does the brew paddle need to be used during this adjustment?

    • @mjpaesan
      @mjpaesan 2 роки тому

      @@Takochan29 Correct. And no you shouldn’t need to activate the pump to set the pressure. You may want to activate it a few times before replacing the cover to confirm that the pressure is remains stable, but while you’re adjusting to the desired pressure you shouldn’t need to activate the pump.

    Another USELESS VIDEO!! What possibly is helpful to see unnarrated espresso pours? Huh? How are we supposed to learn something and benefit? Huh? You say Kickapoo Full Spectrum. So what? What is the roast? What are the notes? How did you dial it in? What are you looking to bring out? What was the dose? Why did you choose Monolith Conical over Flat Max? How do you like it? (Quite a bit of clumping BTW). If you don’t want to contribute something useful, don’t post. Your video is no different than every single other unnarrated 2-5min UA-cam espresso pour video out there. Aside from how the equipment looks. Take an intelligence pill and see if you can come up with something to say. Look at Real Sprometheus: same machine, but always useful and interesting posts.

    Hello! Awesome set up! I see that you're using an Eazytamp, as I'm in the market for one I wanted to as you if you're still using it, does it make any scratching sounds from the springs and most importantly as its strait wall tamper, have you noticed any suction going on? What size is your tamper as well? I'm looking at the 58.6mm as I only use VST baskets.

      Eklektik Hi - I very much like the Easytamp and have 2 handles (one custom) and 2 bases, both 58.5mm (they sent me an extra base by mistake when I ordered the custom handle and told me to keep it). At this point, however, I don’t always use it. I have a new machine (Decent) and use a curved tamper with it. I find it works better with this machine. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to give you a deal on one of my Easytamps. Just ping me if so.
