why does my child page get a 404 message?
Hello, that's really helpfull! But what if your page does look different on different browsers? Do you have tips for that?
Thanks for the work to do this. Sadly, it doesn't work. I use classic, and when I click on block it tells me that "No block is selected." Ever since they've gone to the block system, there are many things I can't seem to do. Their new interface is no help. They assure me that I can still use classic - which is simple and intuitive - but apparently that's not the case. Removing a post should be simple - go to edit, posts, the post you wish to remove, click on a selection button, click trash it. But any suggestions here would be appreciated. Thanks, DMS PS Ironically, as WP has become much more difficult to use, and seemingly impossible to use for simple things like remove a post or insert a link, my cost has gone up - more than doubling.

Hello! I made a subpage and chose the parent page from the Page Attributes, and published it. However Wordpress did not establish a window that appears from the button when I try to nagivate to it on the site. How would I make that?

Let's say there is a post on another site and it can be placed on our site inside the code. After we publish this post by wrapping it in an code, we take one word or phrase and try to do a search for this word on our site, the search cannot find the post where this word or phrase was used. I would like the material that is inside the code to be indexed inside the site, that is, if desired, the visitor could find it: is it possible to do this? I would be grateful for any advice that will help arrange this.
Thanks, Ksyusha. Unfortunately this is not possible; the WordPress Search Engine only indexes content stored in it's own database (not in a third-party ). There are two potential workarounds, though... (1) You could try a third-party search plugin, something that scrapes your site's content (rather than indexing the database), and subsequently replaces the WordPress native search. Services like Algolia come to mind, but you'd need to check with them to see if it will achieve what you want. (2) If the iFrame provider supplies a JSON or XML feed of the content, you may be able to import it directly into your own website (eliminating the iFrame, and directly hosting the content itself) using something like WP All Import.

Unfortunately, I'm not a Lawyer, and every country's copyright and trademark laws are different, so you'd need to check with a local legal professional. ...that said, what we've done in previous instances is use our competitor's category list as "inspiration"; and created categories in a similar vein, but with slightly different names. We've never "gotten into trouble" over this; but again *not a lawyer*; so I'd recommend checking with a local legal professional before committing too many resources.
