Just about to try fitting the same RideCast unit to my VFR1200f, but am worried about leaving the thing in situ while parked - there doesn’t appear to be any kind of quick detach so it’s not stolen, other than the fiddly allen bolt right at the back of the screen. Am I missing something? 🤷‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ ⁉️

very helpful but these units are not back-compatible with older units (Avant, Sport etc) they will only connect with one unit and if others all have older units and you use this, you will only be able to talk to one person and not the whole group. Not at all helpful.

I use Halvarssons riding gear since a couple of years , black and neon-yellow jacket with black pants... it has the Outlast system and it works well. Was suprised with terrible rain in a ride , wearing my jacket and jeans.... back home I had to remove my jeans and shoes in bathroom because it was like if i would have been in a lake.... but when I removed my jacket , I was completely dry under !!!!😊😊😊😊 . It was really amazing 😅..... wish I had used my riding-pants that day, then I would have been completely dry all over... So , very satified with my riding-gear.😊😊

Hi there, do you have a demo one actually in store in Camberley. I have had varying success at getting an answer to the following question :- I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android Auto which connects perfectly to my Garmin Zumo XT. However it is a 2019 phone and runs Android 10 operating system and no longer upgradeable. I have had some people say that all of these smart screens require Android 11 or newer (Chigee, Carpuride, Innovv N1, etc etc) and some say as long as it runs Android Auto that's all it needs. I would love to come and try for myself before buying one. My Zumo XT does 90% of what all these do and my phone is brilliant for everything I need - I don't want to have to upgrade my phone and also buy a screen just to get a few tiny extra functions. Many thanks for your help. Keep up the good work in the Camberley store - you are always very helpful :)
