MT Streetfighter SV S Review: Urban-Style Jet Helmet That Won't Break The Bank
Is the chin guard for aesthetics or does it actually provide protection, i.e when on, is it truly a full face helmet? I ask because I was considering getting the bell broozer, who claim that there removable chin is rated as a full helmet, sort of implying not all modular helmets are. I was hoping to find out which camp the MT streetfighter is a part of prior to purchasing?
Love your store I have ordered many things but this video was a waste of time. Main problems when doing this is Getting the grip onto the throttle tube because you can’t twist otherwise your damage it How to cable tie the cable on the throttle side so it doesn’t cause any issues on pulling or releasing the throttle Next time please show us B roll of what you’re doing instead of just filming your face.
What is “PUR CHASE” 😅😅😅
Really need more videos like this one 👍 It’s a great help to consumers
Nice vid. When you give the "for reference we're both wearing a medium" it's worth also giving your relevant personal measurements (i.e. height, chest, waist, body build / type - lean / athletic / power, etc., ...). I struggle with my phone (Sony Xperia 1 V) when in the rain - the slightest bit of moisture on the screen and it starts "self-activating" itself and when I finally actually touch it, my inputs are misinterpreted. So I prefer to avoid anything that needs use of a touch-screen and just opt for old-fashioned controls on the actual device / clothing itself - or use of voice-activation. The only other solution I've found is a US$300 phone case for use with scuba diving and that just feels a tad excessive! So it'll be interesting to see how easy it is to control these in wet weather.
any good backpacks that incorporate a hydration bladder?
most if not all kriega backpacks can take a hydration bladder so I'd say check those out first
Recent convert to heated kit, i have the Macna padded gillet and its great piece of kit ( you do have to have bluetooth turned on your phone, press and hold the button on the gillet/jacket to connect, so you can use the app, gillet/ jacket must be connected to bike before it powers up and connects. I wear it under a laminated jacket and haven't had to go above level 2. The padding does help retain the heat when your off the bike for to but no more than id say 30 mins. Gloves look interesting so will have to save up for them. Thanks for the real world review, these are much more useful than talking about a product in a shop (im sure the shops warmer this time of year though ☺️)
Does the ascent turn on with the app, or do you need to turn it on with the button on the jacket first?
The jacket needs to be turned on to use the app. So you'd have to use the button first 🙂
Just found this info on internet, only bought my helmet 12months ago, only $150au, as I'm pillon passenger and had to buy it in a rush. It gives me headaches and can't wear with my glasses. From this video it is definitely too big, but is an Origine XS..... I can do what you do with the loose helmet when moving the front of helmet from chin up and down.
Z-liners priced at £480 with level 1 armour is insanely overpriced. And en:343 with a rating of 1 (the lowest) for waterproofing won't last you 30 minutes in the pooring rain. It might be good for light spots of rain, but I use the Knox Dual Pro which has a 10K membrane and I only lasted 25 minutes in some light rain before the jacket eventually soaked up enough water to make me cold and damp. Can we get some options that are casual looking jackets but with actual laminated waterproofing rated at 15K or above or with a score of 3 in the en:343 category?
How do you anchor it to the ground if it’s on concrete? Seems like it would blow over easily if not anchored.
So they do come supplied with bolts to mount it on concrete but of course that would require drilling.
Sir we manufacture motorcycle jacket if you allow me to show you my samples
Very well done presentation. Thank you. Would liked to have heard drawbacks to each, if any. Helps with decision making.
Great video and yes please, mire videos giving us a choice depending on budget is always helpful
nice shops you guys have but the quality of the video... no comment
I have 3x of the top sellers mentioned 🙂
Is it intercom ready ?
Yes
Why film someones face when they are doing something, can we see what they are doing please

Could you please re-upload this video after you have made an edit to the sound mix - bring up the presenter and take the music down ALOT. Makes this video infuriating to watch and very difficult to follow the presenters words.. Otherwise it would be a piece of well made, informative viewing.

Nice work, thanks. Subbed.
thank youuuuu
Hiii, what about the perforations on the pants you didn't talked about it and what summers are we talking about here 25C +,35C OR 40C plus
The trousers are non-perforated. Since these are all-season leather pants, they cannot specify a particular temperature range for wearing them. It depends on how well the individual tolerates heat or cold while using them. However, it’s worth noting that the trousers feature a lightweight, breathable fixed lining, which adds to their comfort across different seasons.
Hi, does the R16 accommodate the 16 inch MacBook Pro with a protective sleeve? I'm planning on getting one of these for daily commute and I use a 16 inch Macbook Pro with a protective sleeve, .
Man, You saved my life with voice commands language change. Thanks
With this price,, level one is not acceptable 👍
Does the b30 fit as a touring pack as well. As I’m doing a Europe tour and don’t want to take. My hard panniers . So I will look at purchasing the b30 and fit the t20 to it on the bike saddle.
Thieves don't attack the lock, they attack the brake disc which makes disc locks pointless. My bike vanished in 1 minute with an Abus Granit on it, they just sliced through the brake disc.
Same happened to me a few years back with my Street Triple in Covent Garden. Chunky disc lock but the thieves cut round it through the disc. Miraculously the bike was still there but I couldn’t ride it so had to wait with it for a recovery van. Think the thieves were planning to come back with a van later or something
Bought one Neotec3 Satori during my holiday trip in Japan. Found a great shop @ricoland. Well Im too exited till I forgotten to add the bluetooth to this helmet 😅. I will have to find a Cardo in Singapore 😂 I like the most about this Neotec3 is the rachet strap. Easy just like my fidlock on my Klim Kurios Pro! No more double D ring for me 😊
Yes, but can it withstand the Lock Picking Lawyer?
Anyone living problems with BMW TFT System telephone conversation? Can see the call answer the call but the line is a complete silence (8R)
The white one seems very big! Is it a L? The graphik one.in the background seems really small - or is it just a cardboard dummy?
which visor is suitable for MT Targo S Britain C2 ?
Which size is this?
Just ordered mine, the Space Blue, thanks Chris!
You should have put each of their lists in the info section, with direct links
Thanks for the feedback and have added them all into the description!
great video! ive been looking at some less common brands and I always see these rated standards and have no clue what they mean, so it feels nice to understand a little but more
I will just say that when a company tells me "we use less material for your safety, trust us" yeah, that was what 100% put me away from ever buying Shoei.
I wish it has DD Ring, but I’ll get one anyway
What's so exclusive about it? Bennetts interviewed him about a year ago regards to the rebrand
They've certainly come a long way! I will say though, I don't know of a single company that has produced casual gear that can fit the armour close to the limbs and not move around AND still be comfortable........... SPADA???
Thanks for this review. I've been waiting for Shark's replacement to their Evoline range for over a year. Looks like I'll be popping down to your Bevois Valley branch in the new year!
What do you think about the EVO
@pakapeta7772 I've had Evos ever since they first appeared in 2008, and it's the perfect helmet for me. I originally bought it just for commuting and had a full-face AGV for 'sportier' riding. But I soon found that I wasn't using the AGV as I preferred the Shark. It was noticeably heavier than the AGV, but that's true of all flip-front/flip-over helmets and doesn't bother me. It's also noisier than a full-face, but I always wear ear plugs, so it's not an issue. The fit, for me, is perfect, although some say the Shark shape doesn't suit everyone, so definitely a case of try before you buy. My current model is the Evo ES, and I've been waiting for the new release before deciding on a replacement. Provided the latest iteration's shape suits my head, I'll have no hesitation in buying the OXO.
@@luddite6239 Thanks for your sharing. :) I have a Shark too, I feel like they all have bad wind noise lol. I might get OXO later.
Hi. Do you sell visors and pinlock for this helmet? can you please provide link
Hi. Thanks for the presentation. It seems to me that it "shares" many features with the homologous Nolan. Regards.
Good eye! They did partner up to create this lid
Shark acquired Nolan (along with X-lite) back in 2019, so no doubt this release is a result of that collaboration.
R22 - plastic, uneven plate inside 🤮
lol I just took a Philips to the battery case and stopped before screwing things up anymore. Thanks for the video
So disappointed in the recommendations for unlimited budget. Order a racing absolute Alpinestars suit. Tech air 10 offers hip coverage wayyy better than the 7. Lastly the center lock on the x15 (x-spr pro) is ass compared to the x14 where it was on the left and way easier to open and close.
Is the back protector that’s included with the RST suit not accepted at track days? An additional back protector is needed? Thanks
Most track days don't consider the little foam pad a back protector. You need a standalone most of the time.
@ good to know, thank you for the reply 👍
Where’s the track day video ??
