"Big bad Marines"...Cutty was well aware of that revenge ass whooping Anthony put on his worker Cowboy for cutting him after losing that bet on the pool table at Kirby's spot so he had to steal on him because he knew Anthony may have whooped him in a fair fight because of his military training so he took no chances. Clifton Powell played that role to the tee! Still my all time favorite movie that I watch about 4 times a year in 2024!😂

This entire situation was Anthony's fault.🤨 He had no biz volunteering to go into that war unless he was forced via a draft. He should've gone to college instead like his brother. Next, he tells Juanita not to wait for him. While he's in the war, he refuses to write her back or even tells her he's alive even after knowing she has his child. Naturally, she moves on b/c she has to provide for their kid. Then, 1 day, he shows up on her doorstep & throws her life in disarray. It seems like whatever she had w/ Cutty was already over before Anthony returned but she went out her way to introduce Ant to Cutty & send the message that Daddy is back home. However, b/c Cutty is the persistent hustler that he is, he continued to overstep boundaries by helping w/ $$, which was indirectly pissing on Anthony's territory. That was Anthony's job to check that b/c this is now a mano a mano issue. Anthony was just angry b/c his ego was hurt that he was caught slipping & allowed Cutty to punk him. So now, he's going upstairs to take it out on Juanita b/c he couldn't take it out on who he wanted to. Nothing she or Cutty said were wrong. It was all truth delivered in an unfair package. Granted, ppl didn't know what shellshock or PTSD was back then. So, it wasn't handled w/ the grace & patience as it is today. Also, there wasn't a lot of financial help & emotional support for soldiers. Couple that w/ institutionalized racism, mass incarceration, a rise in unemployment, unfair housing practices, inflation, etc. But all of this was a result of Anthony's actions.😒

Not saying Cutty was right, but, when you leave your woman like the way he did, he left an opening.

Miller High Life is now my legitimate reason for living... I can't stop it, it's so good and I don't feel sick when I drink it. I'm just sticking to that. I'd be pissed as well. Hell, I'm drunk off my ass on Miller High Life and absolutely no bad side effects, I feel loose, refreshed, and it gets me where I need to go then stop before I regret my decision to drink it. The taste is consistent and amazing 🤩
