What kind of weight rod were you using along with line weights? Also, did you use the leader and what size hook appreciate the info if you can.

Shark week
@@CDFootballGaming thank you!
Had good times there. Mostly black drum. Oct23
@kentsayles2956 had baits in for drums n got nothing unfortunately but yes I agree good times. I'll be back
We watched the boat return to the dock and the crew cleaned the fish. The local dock fish which were eating the fish scraps were much bigger than the fish caught on the boat, LOL. We caught the same size fish the boat caught off the dock of our rented house on Vaca Cut.
Yes I agree with you and have caught the same size fish behind the hotels but the point was being out on the reef blue water having fun. Thank you for watching!
Where is that?
@lunatico09 it's in Naples my friend. I can't give exact location I'm sorry but thank you for watching!
Ok thanks
Wow that would be a great meal

@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel do you have any spots in naples you can give me, i live in estero and cant find any local spots
@roquegarza1029 literally any pond or canal by you should have peas. Little drainage Ponds behind shopping plaza ect
Loved the video! But the beginning was way too long just to be sitting there and watching you drive the truck to the spot for over 1:30s just wanted to be honest :) have a blessed day and tight lines to you!
@midwestmobsta77remastered38 I appreciate that actually. See I get mixed feedback... some people want the B roll and some people say the same as you. Thank you for watching!
Spotted Sunfish Lepomis punctatus
Thank you!!!
Awesome video...
Thanks bro!
Is this Crystal River in citrus county?
Yes it is
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel Awesome. I’m moving to citrus county next month and can’t wait to fish the area.
@@user-ie1fg6td2n that's awesome! Great fishing there!
Bro just leave it on shore or bump with a stick next time so you can’t get in trouble
You kill invasives, plain and simple. You're doing a disservice to the natural environment if you don't.
Good decision
I live in the naples area as well, do peacock hit on 3" paddle tails?
They do yes... but lol it's not easy. Really need trebles because the peas don't exactly commit.
Sick video!! What a monster snook!!!
Thank you so much!
Every bit of 32
Lol thanks for watching!
Every bit of 32
Maybe when you fish that area again and if you don’t have a nut to drop down, think about a different pair of shoes, the crocks don’t look like that they’re the best choice
I agree they aren't the best choice... I've been having back problems lately and why it was so hard getting down there. Thank you for watching!
Very nice! I live in Naples, if you ever need a camera man, let me know! No payment necessary, and I’ll bring my own gear. 😁
Very cool offer! Thank you
Don't know what's going on with all the peas over there, looks like all of a sudden they just moved to other canals...
Yeah it's strange. Noticed a year ago they started losing interest in live bait. Don't know what to say. Thank you for watching!
You need a bridge net for that spot! Great vid! 👍
I have one.... lol do you think I ever remember it? No....lol thank you for watching!
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel yeah, I forget mine all the time. When I do carry it around I don't catch anything 😂

I believe this video I was using shiners. Thank you for watching!
I am new to Peacock where are the canels in Naples 😊
Lol everywhere. Immokalee road, collier Blvd rt 41. Any Freshwater Canal has peas
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannelThank you, as a non local Brit, this info is pure gold, I only get a few weeks a year to visit, so need to get potential spots mapped out in advance. Thank you VERY much for your generosity and sharing
@tonysicily2687 absolutely! I'd hope the same if I ever went some where.
At 12:15 your rod got bit
Lololol I saw that 😆 Thank you for watching!
One of my charter captains said they caught peacock bass in the river with shrimp, they where fishing for sheep’s head
I believe it. Would not shock me. I've caught Bass, bowfin, and gar on the river before. Thank you for watching!
Nice tips and Tricks
Thank you for watching!
You guys had to be on the back of the boat.....they are the only people that catch fish............
Everyone rotated out every 30 min. A lot of people didn't do well. I did just fine dropping down off the side. People's rods were dribbling and they had no idea they had a fish biting lol like I said if you kind of know what you're doing you'll be fine. It was just nice to spend time on the reef and relax.
spent lots of time in Marathon.........his fishing tours was like one of the bait houses near him........a scam for tourist........The tackle house was worse.......beware. Then u r supposed to tip the alcoholic helpers.....you can catch baby fish.
We ended up catching 2 limits of yellowtail and bunch of lane snappers. Were they big? No, but did I have fun and bring home a bag of fish? Yes! For $69 in my mind couldn't beat it. We basically caught all the fish on the boat lol if you know what you're doing the trip is fine.
We caught our limits of mango snappers off the dock of our rented house on Vaca Cut. Nice to have fresh fish every day and grill them right there. The yellowtails, pork fish, etc were small and not worth bothering with so we released them. The big jacks were fun to catch and release.
@@PassivePortfolios heck yea! That sounds like a great time!
Surgeon fish aka Doctor fish… some of the best tasting fish . Not harmful at all
Everyone says they have some sort of toxin. Interesting though I'll do more research. Thank you!
I say its not worth it, small fish in shallow water
For $69 you get to spend half a day on beautiful Sombrero Reef and bring him a limit of yellowtail. In my book a win win. Nice relaxing day on the water.
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel Agreed, that's fine for a tourist but not for a serious fisherman
@hansgruber2509 absolutely but sometimes as a serious fisherman it's nice to not take it seriously for a day and just relax.
Good for kids on light tackle to introduce them to fishing. We have caught bigger fish on the 1/2 day grunt trips on the West Coast.
Should be $69.69
Lolololoo nope
That Gator has to atleast be around 11 ft definitely a big nuisance bull and will attack someone eventually
Yes, it's a very big gator but I haven't seen him in a long while.
I still enjoyed the video. It’s reality and TBH I appreciate content that keeps it real
Has been very tough fishing
Nice 🔥🔥
Thank you!
Nice video
Thank you so much!
Great video... how come you only use live shiners? Would lures not work in these canals?
It's strange... I do catch them on lures but you will get 1 maybe 2 a day by lure. They are so so so pressured that some days live bait doesn't work. When I'm in the Amazon all I use are lures with no issue. Just think it's the pressure.
Buy a net
I have plenty of nets but the problem is remembering to bring it lol
