How the houston market running dry van and dry van hazmat local
@rashadcurry5734 honestly man, I don't know, I'm not the man that can answer that question. I did a search on TruckStop for vans, Houston to Houston, 125 mile radius for tomorrow and it only showed 3 loads and none of those said anything about hazmat. I imagine though that a majority of the hazmat loads never hit the spot market. Those shippers probably got a list of trusted carriers who haul hazmat.
Thanks for continuing to post. I plan on running flatbed for the first time in march when I go from company to O/O. Your day by day process is nice to experience and learn from. God bless you.
800 900 a load is sad . You will only struggle in trucking with them rates .
We only gross 3,000 if we lucky each week. And spend a 1,000 in fuel. Only broker he lets me use is tql
@mikeschwartz2877 I work with TQL but I could not imagine myself only working with TQL, you can't keep moving like that, yes TQL has a lot of loads but if you want to keep moving and touch 2 or 3 loads a day you have to work with other brokers too. And also, if ya'll are grossing 3 and spending a grand on fuel, the rate per mile must be super low, I mean seriously. Not sure how you are being paid but if it is percentage you're being screwed. Bro, I do not hardly ever say that to people, because your situation is your situation and it might be the right place and time for you, I don't know so therefore I can't speak on it but. But one red flag is that your company only works for TQL that typically indicates that they have had issues with other brokers in the past and have a bad reputation of some kind, #2: they are grossing 3 and paying 1 for fuel, natural I begin to wonder what are they paying you, the driver who is securing the load and living in the truck, and then do they have enough money to cover maintenance, insurance, plates, tolls, 2290, IFTA These are just things to think about, maybe your company is a new MC and the reason they are only working with TQL is because of that, I don't know, I do know that other brokers work with new carriers. Also, lots of times, bad trucking companies after they run themselves into the ground often screw the driver over as their last move. Let me confidently guarantee you this, you as a class A CDL driver with flatbed experience, you can find you a good job with a good company any day of the week especially if you are willing to go OTR and live in a truck.
Happy to talk to you yesterday brother. Keep up good work
What an interesting channel. I am so proud of you and happy for you. You are working hard and truly taking advantage of your second chance. You love your family and you work hard. You're a REAL man. We need more men like you in this world. 😊

I am gonna try this Monday when I make a 600 mile round trip. The tractor I have been running has intermittent cruise control and seems to disengage whenever I hit a pothole or rough section of the interstate.
Good job brother!
Happy Thanksgiving! Truck looks good.

Aye what it is what it do, and what it is is what it was ! If there’s a will there’s a way!!
Good video
Glad you're doing well and you've been finding some better paying loads even though you had to do some longer runs. God bless you and stay safe out there 🙏
Seems like things are going well for you. Keep on looking up and moving forward! Stay safe out there.
Get to the fucking point will you. You said nothing over and over
So what are the numbers after your expenses
@@rashadcurry5734 Monday thru Friday I spent a 1,000 on fuel and DEF, insurance is $1300 a month, no tolls, Truckstop is $150 a month, phone is $150 a month, IRP plates is $1800 a year All equipment is paid off
Are you a felon? Asking because of the name. My husband feels stuck due to his, 10 years old and been doing great since and grew up.... but nobody will hire him or give him a chance. He wanted to get into truck driving but doesn't know what to do. I sure wish he had someone thats been through the same things and made it through to help guide him. He runs pallets in every day which used to be good money and made 500 dollars a day but prices have dropped all the way here and nothing is worse for a man than feeling like he's not doing enough or cant provide..... but if people would just give him a chance, he's the hardest working person I know and will bust his butt from morning to night. Its just sad how things are set up. I just stumbled on your page somehow and seen the name and thought I would ask. So glad you are doing it and looks like you work hard for your family. Stay safe out there! 🙏
Yeah, I'm a felon, been to prison 6 times. Been spun out on meth for about 15 years too.
Keep it up bro! God bless you! And thank you for allowing us to watch your journey with you.

That's so very cool the brokers call you! Another great week on the books! How fun being home to go to the batting cage with your son❤ May God keep smile on you✝️✨
Hey friend, So for around $300. hundred in fuel ..you made 3500.00 😅 I'd say flatbedding been good! And you like it now, thats the best part!👍 other than being home❤ often. When those brokers put you on hold.. they're talking to other driver trying to get them to run for less 😂. Now, you need to get a another truck so someone you trust can run that refer around on short loads? Like Walmart to Walmart, something like that.. Anyway i gotta go back and watch your last couple of videos I've missed ... Your videos always make me 🙂 at how go trucking been good to you! Keep the rubber side down and keep on keeping on✝️✨
Just got out of prison , didn’t take it serious didn’t get my ged but I got my license is there hope to get hired from some one ?
Sorry for the late response, yes bro there is hope for you to be hired, very much so.
@@kellyhoneyfeloncdljourney appreciate you for replying , even violent felons will people accept . Best advice you can give.
@@NewWorldOrder19 yes bro, even violent felons, my advice is to start applying with as many companies as possible. Somebody is going to hire you. You have your license but you do jot have experience behind the wheel, and that my friend is what is hurting you not your felonies. Seriously, that is the honest truth. Just start applying, you may have to start with a trainer before you get your truck but somebody will hire you. Also, there is a thing called Ten Street, and basically the way that works is, you fill out your application, with your info, your references, all that stuff and it automatically saves it, so whenever you fill out a new application you do not have to do it all over again, ya know, it makes it easier and faster.
Wya bro?

@@kellyhoneyfeloncdljourney Hey man, I just want you to know that I was workin on getting the grant to go to CDL school but since I'm a felon I got discouraged and kind of stopped trying for a minute when they told me I had to get pre hire letters. Then I started watching your videos. I've commented a few times. You told me that you cried out to God for help and that I should too. I did cry out to God for help almost 6 mos ago. I did get the pre hire letters I needed but I didn't end up getting the grant because while I was waiting I studied and got my CDL permit on my own. Then i got hired to a good trucking company about two hours from my city and I'm staying in their dorms onsite. I'm in the middle of my second week of their CDL school and im doin well for sure. I wait for, and watch your videos every week bro. Just want you to know I appreciate ya and I know I'm not alone when I say you're a true inspiration 💪🏾 Thankyou sir
You'd have to be out of your mind to haul that heavy for $450. Good on you for not taking it.
That’s what I’m talking about. Keep up the good work bro. You give me hope. Thanks for your vid. I just got my cdl yesterday and I’m an ex knuckle head. Right on.
