Awesome DVD for those of you who have questions about this sick heinous pedal!
Taken so young RIP
I can do the riff w/o the help of the delay and it will still sound like it would with a delay
RIP
What a talent was Michael Casswell 🙌. May he RIP 🙏🏼
Great Lesson, thank you!
Thanks for sharing !
Ugh, I can't not stand this guy talking, keeps making sucking sounds. According to Universal Audio, this song was recorded with only a Korg SDD-3000, which they have a plugin for if anyone wants the true delay sound. The chain was apparently only the guitar, Korg, and a Vox amp.
Bravo Monsieur vous étiez un très grand , chapeau !!😉
So sad that Michael Casswell died tragically so young. A great player and teacher, and a great person too! Such a lovely man - RIP.
This is wrong, Edge used 1 Vox amp, a Korg SDD3000 and a Les Paul recording Pride. And 1 delay setting.
Feedback levels ?
Un grandissimo musicista. R. I P.
Thanks
Great Teacher
Superb instructor, teacher, and guitarist.
Rest In Peace . In September 2016, Casswell drowned whilst swimming off Las Negras beach in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park in Níjar, Spain. He was 53 years old.
Great guitarist and all round top bloke...rest in peace Michael
What a wonderful tutorial! Love the teaching method and extra bits of info.
It was during the rack rackmount system craze.
Thanks
Well done!👍
Michael Casswell, best regards.
The delay is way to loud, over powers the guitar. Can't hear the guitar, just the delay. The guitar should be equal if not greater than the delay. Other then that 👍
R.I.P CASSWELL...
We all need a little bit of shimmer.
Rock In Peace
this dude is a genius the way he broke down the feel and the actual chords and almost every nuance.. amzing.. rock in peace my man
Brilliant player, great teacher and a lovely bloke. Sadly no longer with us. Life’s not fair
A tip: you can watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Otis Theo yea, have been watching on flixzone for years myself :)
I've followed all the steps and my Ev-10 won't work. I'm using stereo jacks and have it plugged in to the correct place in the Gt8. I even did a factory reset on the Gt8 and still no luck.
The tone man
You were a great guitarist thank you for teaching RIP
When did he pass? May he rock in peace
@@luisangelEXALTA he drowned while swimming really saddend me when i read about it i also got the news late
@@Icedsymphony7 yeah i really love this video and been using it for my delay pedal practice, what date did he pass?
@@luisangelEXALTA 30 september 2016
@@Icedsymphony7 rest in peace, so sorry to hear about his death, what a great teacher
It's always So sad when I come across Michael, he was by far my favourite teacher,, what a player what a loss!
Excellent Example, and Excellent teaching.
I kept trying to find the "I" string but couldn't find it.
it's the one after the 'h' string ;)
I know this is old post but I'm still using mine. Is there any way to vary [not just turn on/off] the gain/overdrive or distortion with the expression pedal? thx
Er redet zuviel. Schlimm..
First time I heard this intro to this song the hairs on my neck stood up on the back of my neck. I was learning guitar at the time but never learned the song. Back then I couldn't figure it out with all the delays pinging.
First time here, enjoyed this a lot. Did struggle to hear the guitar at points but pretty informative. I often struggle to interpret what effects artists are using beyond the most obvious (drive, fuzz, delay)
Around 8:00 - I think the doubling *could* be done by adding an octaver, or using a looper? More complexity, but Edge isn't exactly afraid of tech, so even if he's not doing it, still a logical extension of his approach to cover it that way imho
RIP brother! you are missed immensely!
Cool man...Greetings Form Berlin...Germany🤘
This is the closest to the Edge’s actual tone than I’ve found on youtube. Great job!
Vc pode fazer uns vídeos ensinando alguns patchs da gt8... Tem poucos videos ensinando timbres
Thank you from The Netherlands
He died btw so RIP
Video muito legal! Ajudou muito.
This video was very well done. Nice job...wish you'd do more of the others!
He died btw so RIP
