Please note, there is a correction to question 3.1, the actual calculation with regards to the cost of investments in Trade Receivables should be as follows: Change in ACP = 70 - 150 = -80 Change in Sales = 100 - 90 = 10 Therefore Change of Cost if investment in Trade Receivables = [(-80 x 90)/365 + (70 x 10 x (1 - 0.50))/365] x 10% = [-19.726 + 0.9589] x10% = -1.8767 million Therefore change in profit = 5 + 1.8767 - 1.8 - 5 = R 0.0767 million
